This was exactly what I expected and have been searching for. The nozzle is well made and feels solid in your hand. I bought a second one for another hose in the front yard after using he first one for a month or two. I like the design of the firehose (twist) type nozzle versus the gun style handles. I'm constantly dragging the hose around to coil it up or move it out of the way of equipment. The gun style handles catch in the grass and have broken off on some of the plastic ones I've had in the past. I also like the easy adjustability of the spray stream. Opening a little creates a high-pressure stream and opening completely is great for watering plants. I would definitely recommend this nozzle.

The pros: Solid construction, easy to use, the quick connect is a nice touch (though I don't use it), infinitely variable water pressures.The cons: quickly goes from steady to wimpy stream.Right out of the package I liked this. It's design is sturdy and will be hard to break. It is a twist to open/close type and does not feel cheap and plasticy like it will break after a few uses. Indeed, upon inspection, it is metal and strongly built. The high pressure stream is nice, though narrow. I'd like to see a better hybrid of high pressure and water flow, but this nozzle just does not have it. Like previously stated, the stream will be higher pressure and then in a couple of degrees it does to concentrated low pressure shower. The internal diameter or design would need to be changed to really do better (or an increase in your hose pressure, which people are less likely to adjust). All in all, especially for the price, this unit is good. It is not the best, but will do average to slightly above for normal every day use.

This is one of three basic types of nozzles that I have found to work to acceptable standards.One nozzle type is for working with decorative rock and cement where pressure and low volume is a requirement.This nozzle does almost all the tricks of other nozzle type less some volume.The red nozzle here I highly recommend for almost all watering needs.It handled every thing but the deep watering that I put down before going on vacation this summer.There time is important and maximum volume,say an added 15/20 percent makes the job go quicker.With street pressure the Crenova HN-03 with a good choice of spray patterns along with one handed operation for changing the pattern has been the nozzle for 80 some percent of all hose watering and all units are holding strong some years into their use.

I read all the reviews before I bought this product. Looked good, seemed like good quality. I also purchased the Crenova 100ft hose thinking maybe they would work better together. WRONG! Very, very, very weak stream. The fog pattern was about 4-12 inches. Better off holding your thumb over the hose end for a better stream and pressure. So I tested it out. I went to Walmart and bought a cheap hose and tried the nozzle on that hose and same result. I also bought a $10 nozzle from Walmart and worked like a dream with a cheap hose and a $10 nozzle from Walmart. I will be returning the Crenova hose and nozzle and keeping my Walmart stuff. I prefer to pay extra and get something that is quality and made to last but not this time. Crenova is crap. No sugar coating it here.

Looking to replace a hose nozzle purchased from Home Depot that worked great but finally bit the dust. The Crenova did not fit the bill for me. My old nozzle provided high pressure with both a narrow and wide spray and it also provided low pressure on wide spray. Using high pressure with the wide spray works great for washing my vehicle. The Crenova only provides high pressure with a narrow spray, when you twist it open about half way, it goes from high pressure to a steady but much lower flow. Open it even more and the pressure goes practically limp. This is great for gardening, but not so great for spraying off your car or driveway. Also, my nozzle leaks at the connection point with the hose since day one. Having experienced this before with other nozzles, this usually went away. In this case it did not. I will say this is a sturdy nozzle for the price. It's been dropped a few times with no apparent damage. I ultimately decided to keep it for gardening purposes

I should have paid more attention to the reviewer that explained that the design is backwards. As you twist it on..... the high pressure jet stream comes out first (like to hose off your car or driveway) then you twist more to get a spray (like for plants). So if you are just standing there ready to water something, like potted plants, you have to hold it in the air while you try to quickly try to bypass the jet stream (which is heavy enough to leave a divot in the ground). It seams like the gentle spray should come out first then twist towards the high pressure jet stream as needed.Also, I too was puzzled by the adapter that was attached to the nozzle. You have to remove it in order for it to fit on a regular hose. I had to read the reviews to find that out. I almost returned it as well thinking it didn't fit a regular hose.I also experienced as other reviewers said that when dropped it comes on by itself-- spraying the jet stream in whatever direction you dropped it. It is comfortable to use, it sprays fine, it twists easily, and it's a good price but.... I am getting a different one for everyday use. This will sit in the garage for use as a last resort.

Bought this because i like the fire hose nozzle shape and rubber coating for when I wash my car. At first I hesitated because it was only $6 and automatically though it must be junk, but decided to give it a try and couldn't be happier! Also, it came with what looks to be a removable plastic quick release section. It feels great, works great, and the price is great. I would definitely buy another.
