Good if you're prepared to fix them up front.
First off, make sure you know what you're getting into. I read other reviews before ordering and still bought them mainly due to the price and potential. First, ditch the reflectors. There is a Philips screw that fastens the clamp. Loosen it and pull off the reflector. Next, loosen the bearings just the tiniest bit. Mine were way too tight and would barely turn. Heck, while you're doing that, why not put some new grease in? Pry off the little cap opposite the threads and you'll find the nut that holds it together. Lastly, as others have described, the toe clips were smashed down due to the unfortunate factory packaging. I took an 8" piece of 2x4 lumber, removed the clips from the pedals and slid them onto the long narrow side of the wood. Press them on tight until they are almost as far as they can go, with the tops angling up about 45 degrees. Use a small wood screw in the middle mounting hole to hold it in place. I put them side by side. Heat some water to or near boiling in a large pot or bowl. Remove from heat and put the 2x4+toeclips assembly into the hot water. Use something heavy to hold it under water. A smaller pot or bowl will do. Leave it alone till the water cools. Then remove and let it dry. Unscrew the clips and they're back in shape.Four stars because the pedals feel like they should be wider and I can't mod that.

Pretty good set of pedals at a reasonable price
I bought these to replace the cheap pedals that came with my fixed gear bike, which finally broke. This was the least expensive option I could find that had largely positive reviews, so I figured that I might as well try them out. They are a lot more comfortable than my last set of pedals - looking at the pictures, I thought they would be flimsy, but they seem to be pretty sturdily constructed. They screwed into my cranks pretty easily (I always lubricate the threads and use a pedal wrench), and I was up and running. The platforms are big enough for my feet, and they distribute my weight evenly and don't gouge into my foot like some other pedals (I ride them with regular street shoes since this is on my commuter bike). It is a bit difficult to get into the clips for now (since I can't stop pedaling to hold them open like I could on a geared bike), but I've managed to get in after a few tries. I find that most pedals with toe clips are like this when new, and I'm sure that they will stretch out over time.Overall, seems like a pretty good set of pedals for a reasonable price. Will update if anything changes.

Great for Commuting
These are perfect for commuting. I ride 13 miles to work and back and these clips really allow me to transfer energy from down crank to up crank for maximum speed and longevity. My only complaint is in the design. There are reflectors on the bottoms of the pedal (not pictured) that break off when you step on them. If you could always start riding with your foot in the two clip then this would not be a problem. But, in traffic, when stopped at a red light, once it turns green you don't have time to place your foot perfectly in the clip before pedaling through the intersection. So, I guess it goes without say that both of my reflectors are crushed and broken off already (three weeks) but to no negative effect on the functionality of the pedal and clips.

good quality, questionable design - not for my size 11 shoe
I've used other styles of straps/clips in the past. these are problematic for one basic reason - hard to get into...I am size 11 shoe. I am riding a GT hybrid for exercise in suburban areas and will be in and out of the pedals frequently. I think the design causes this the difficulty for larger feet like mine. The strap itself tends to sag and get in the way of getting your foot in. The Y shaped plastic toe clip provides only one place for the strap to traverse around the pedal at point of entry to the harness. Other styles have two plastic "branches" extending upward where the strap feeds through. I had that style in the past and once you get use to it, a simple flip of the pedal and you simply roll your toe right into the harness without obstruction. With this design, it is tough since the sagging strap doesn't provide enough of a consistent opening. I have only had these 60 days (missed my window to return unfortunately) but I presume the strap will get flimsier with age. As usual, Amazon was great and the seller delivered what I ordered on time. But I will be replacing these. Probably better for smaller feet. The pedal itself seems well constructed and of good quality.

I just did not find them comfortable. They are too small and put a lot ...
While these pedals seem well made and held up well, I just did not find them comfortable. They are too small and put a lot of pressure on your foot. They also came packaged to a piece of cardboard and it really presses the cage down. I had to dip them in near boiling water and leave then on top of some canned goods (to hold the cage open while they cooled) a couple of times to get them where they should be. I traded these out for some Avenir cage pedals and I love those, I gave these to my friend and he loves them so maybe it's just me and my feet, but I found them extremely uncomfortable.
