99 TTR225
Made a small tweak to the air/fuel screw to 1 3/4 turns out from seated, may tweak more after more run time. Runs way better then previous carb that was rebuilt twice. The next day I turned on the fuel and it started leaking from the overflow hose. Took it apart and found a small piece of rubber in the needle valve seat preventing it to stop fuel. my mistake not to clean it all before installing. All I good!! would recommend this carb as a aftermarket replacement. Came with fuel filter, extra jets and tank petcock.

Great rebuilt kit with throttle slide diaphragm for xt225 / Serow
Serow or XT225 have different jetting than TTR so although I noticed a drastic improvement from idle thru midrange bike would hesitate/cutout at higher RPMs once installed. The idle jet is unlike Mikuni. (only a hole in bottom with none on sides of tube). Rejetting with Mikuni jets made it run way to rich. I found the fuel filter to be on the large size for a motorcycle. Long story short ....I used some parts off this carb to put in the OEM Mikuni. The large diaphram that is part of the slide mechanism was a perfect fit. Actually other than idle jet this is a perfect 5 star assembled rebuild kit if you are able to use your old body.

Works like a charm
Original carb from 2005 TTR I was unable to get working 100% with a rebuild kit that I had. Instead of ordering another rebuild kit, decided to spend a little more and just get the whole carb. Came with additional jets, filter and fuel chock. Came quickly and I installed it. Put some gas in the tank, installed a new battery and voila, it started and sounded like it was brand new. I did not have to adjust anything on the carb...... So, if you are having issues with that 20 year old carb, you can rebuild it or just get a new one, rebuilding will work, but my time is important to me...order a new once install it and an hour later you will be riding!

Leaks ou of box
I'm still working to solve a leaking fuel bowl issue. Probably stuck float as others have noted, so will have to pull carb and go thru it. May be sending back. Disappointed!Update - opened float bowl, toggled float a couple of times, reinstalled and working well.

Why does it do this?
The media could not be loaded. Every time I turn on the gas it just starts to drain out of the hoses. I have checked and re placed the needle and the float. What’s wrong?

Worked perfect
My wife's relative has been promising/threatining to drop this bike off for me to fix for the last 7 years. last week I get home and he and his son are taking it off his truck. I put on the old carb it ran bad, I bought this carb and it runs perfect, Very nice. no adjustment required. oh yeah its 6 times chaeper than OEM.

Fired Right Up!
After damaging the carb on my 2004 TT-R225, I was desperate to find a replacement without paying the outlandish price of the OEM part ($385!). I figured that I had nothing to lose by purchasing this much less expensive version. The part number matched, the reviews were good, it looked the same as my old one, so what the heck. When the package arrived, it was expertly packaged and I inspected the quality. Everything looked great - machined well, clean, no cheap parts, etc. Tonight I just finished installing it. I swapped out the bigger jets and needle from my old carb due to some airbox and exhaust mods I had made. When everything was put back together, I turned the key, hit the switch and BAM it fired right up! A slight adjustment to the idle was all I needed to do. If anyone is hesitating on purchasing this carb, put your fears aside and hit the Buy Now button.

Perfect Replacement
Looks exactly like the original Mikuni. Straight re and re of the old carb on 2003 TTR 225. Started first try, slight adjustment to idle screw and no leaks, runs great.Recommended.
