Review: Great for super fine line. - Pen consistently lays down a fine line. I’m using the Rotring ink and the pen has not clogged even when sitting unused for several weeks. I use it for sketching and watercolor highlights. It’s great for small drawings where I need detail with a very fine point. As others have said, this is a technical pen, and must be used fairly perpendicular to the paper. Once you grow used to that, it’s great.
Review: Always Good - I like this pen a lot! I have bought this brand for decades. I love a very smooth rich black ink.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what type of ink can you refill this with?**
A: The other answer is incorrect. Isographs have a refillable container on the inside that you fill with bottled ink. It's the Rapidograph that requires cartridges, not this.

**Q: are the pens metal or plastic?**
A: These pens have plastic bodies.
