T74505 29-1/2" to 49" Quick Support Rod, Adjustable Support System, 132 lbs Max Capacity

I do a lot of building and renovation, and - historically - I've found myself cutting pieces of lumber to a rough height to help hold things at height before fastening them in place.Once finding this tool, I've bought a second one because of its versatility!The pole's height range is generally perfect for what I need (though other height options are available). The pads on either end are tough and grip very well on any surface I've used them on, and also include predrilled holes to attach support pieces to help distribute the load above or lock the location of either end in place.The adjustable increments get the rod to a close height within ~1/2", and fine-tuning the ultimate height is a breeze by simply twisting the pole with one hand while keeping your eye on the mark.I've never maxed out the capacity, but 100+ pounds seems more than adequate for what I use it for. The fiberglass rod is sturdy and thick, and the steel hardware at either end is substantial. I've never felt that the rod's strength was in question.I've used these rods for cabinets, joists, sheathing placement, and ceiling panels, among other things, and they've been an amazing investment.As a bonus, you can set them sideways and push things into alignment as well!I'm looking forward to figuring out other ways to use these, as they're now integral to my set of building supplies.

I've used these for years. The business I used to work for had a couple sets of different sizes and now that I'm out on my own doing remodeling/renovations these are essential. Having a quick way to make a dust barrier is key. Puts customers at ease, saves time on clean up, saves on tape/staples. I use these short ones in doorways to hold up plastic as a dust curtain, but they are also versatile for installing cabinets, used them to add pressure while gluing up paneling, shower surrounds etc. Def a time saver. Longer ones make quick work of putting up a floor to ceiling dust barrier with some plastic, help with holding up long trim during install, used them as a helper for installing drywall on the ceiling.Was so happy to find them on Amazon, the imbeciles at the box stores looked at me cross eyed when I went there looking for them.

I used this metal bar to help hold up the closet bar that holds up the hanging clothes. Works awesome.

This tool is amazing when it comes to holding flat items still above my head while I drill it or get it in place. It doesn’t wobble and is very sturdy perfect for drywall ceiling installments

Works as intended, no defects, cheaper than zipwall. Good buy!

I have used this to hold sheetrock up to the ceiling, for applying pressure to a vertical wall glue joint, for supporting framing, you name it. I work by myself a lot, so this is like having an assistant who doesn't take breaks or complain about parking. It's my third arm!

Compare with others and this is best priced and solid.

These are super easy to use and built really strong. Now they do not come with any instructions but if one is a bit confused there is a good video on YouTube put out by the Company on how to use them step by step.Just extend the shaft and once it is snug to the ceiling or what ever it is, then turn the handle anti clockwise and it will ratchet into position with all the force one ever needs. I highly recommend these.

I use these as BaseStation support poles (with fast-release camera clamps). They take up basically no floor space, its easy to adjust the camera angle if you need to (side to side by slightly adjusting the support pole), they're durable and also able to match almost all ceiling heights while still keeping your BaseStations near the top of the roof for best FOV. If you relocate often, these are compact and adjustable to each of your new locations, and because they're not on a stand, its possible to stick your BaseStations behind furniture while maximizing living space.

If you're looking for a non-destructive alternative to mounting basestations in your wall, consider this quick support rod. I can't speak for its actual construction usage, but it works well as a basestation stand. It's easy to use and a lot more sturdy than other VR stands I've seen used. Its thickness should fit most camera-type clamps as well.Do note that the part that extends out is fairly reflective metal, so you may need to cover it up if your basestations are having trouble with that.The biggest downside to this (as a basestation stand) is how much it sticks out, being a bright yellow and red, but if you value sturdiness over aesthetics it shouldn't be a problem.

I just bought the 10’ ones a few weeks ago and they’re great so I didn’t hesitate to buy the same brand in the smaller version. Good quality and very handy.
