Audio-Technica ATH-CKS5TW Wireless Headphones - Black

Superb build quality, battery life (45h) and bass. Would never purchase Apple’s ridiculous design instead of these. Additional review comment March 2021: Superb no-quibble 2 year guarantee from Audio Technical, that allows faulty headphones to be replaced without a fuss. After 4 months daily use. When I bought these they looked on paper to be the best option for my requirements, they may still be, they have excellent battery life - I get at least 9 hours before the first low battery warning. They're comfortable to wear and stay in the ear nicely under normal conditions (I haven't tried them with exercise or anything like that), and they support APTX which is a nice high quality codec. They also look fine, if a bit large, you're not going to wear these to look cool thats for sure but they don't look absurd. However there is plenty of room for improvement, the bluetooth whilst just fine with a smartphone can be a bit slow to connect to other bluetooth transmitters, I frequently have to power cycle my transmitter and/or the ear buds to get a connection. The most disappointing thing for me however is the sound, its not bad as such, you can tell they're a quality earphone but they are just so coloured in the bass range, I want to say they have something like a 20% boost at the low end. This makes the bass overly thumpy and takes a lot of sharpness and detail out of the mids and highs. For someone who primarily uses these for watching video or playing games this is far from ideal. If you're into bass heavy music these may be perfect for you, otherwise I fear you may be disappointed with the sound.

They're great, sound quality closely comparable to their ATH-M50 headset. They do stick out a bit but its a minor downside knowing the sound quality you get.

Giving 3 stars just for the audio quality which I really liked and battery life. I bought this despite seeing some negative reviews as I owe other audio technica product and I love them. However after a few weeks of use I started to have some connection issues especially on my laptop where the sound kept breaking up on video calls. This was happening with me being relatively close to the Bluetooth with nothing that could have interfered. I dismissed this as possibly being my laptop until when using them on my phone the left earbud would turn off without even touching it. I had to press the button to turn this back on or place both bids in the case and get them out again. Overall I decided that for the price it was not worth keeping them with the issues already presenting themselves so early as I could find something better for the same price.

Have been with AT for ages...never disappointed. If u like bass...go ahead. Also, great sound quality, loud volume. Defo recommended. 5stars

They were too big for my ears; as they didn't fit nothing else about them mattered! Really disappointed.

I had high hopes being Audio-Technica but alas the sound wasn’t up to the B&O E8 2.0 or Cambridge Audio Melomania 1’s. In fact it was very inferior. They are larger too, Melomania excelled in that department. Build quality, fit etc all good but I had no option but to return them.

Wo es mir drauf ankommt: Lange Akkulaufzeit ... und natürlich an erster Stelle ein guter Klang .......der Audio-Technica kann Beides 👍👍 Ich habe den Audio-Technica ATH-CKS5TW auf Grund der sehr guten Rezessionen gekauft , und muss sagen , ich bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Ich habe vorher schon zwei andere Bluetooth In Ears gekauft und habe Beide wieder verkauft , weil die versprochene Spielzeit ( zwischen 8 und 10 Stunden ) nich einmal annähernd eingehalten wurde. Beim ATH-CK55TW hält der Akku in der Tat ohne nachzuladen locker mehr als 12 Stunden. 👏👏 Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die mitgelieferten Ohrstöpsel. Mit diesen hatte ich keine Chance einen ausreichenden Seal und befriedigenden Sound hin zu bekommen. Das ist aber ein Kritikpunkt bei fast allen in ears out of the box. Mit den richtigen Stöpseln spielen die in ears direkt in einer ganz anderen Liga. Ich habe die von meinem Audeze LCD-i4 und von meinem JH-Audio Roxanne ( beide in deutlich höherem Preissegment ) am Audio-Technica verwendet und würde jetzt auch mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben. Mein Tip für erstklassige Ohrstöpsel....SpinFit CP145

Muy buen sonido, buena autonomía. Algo grandes pero para transmitir esa mejora frente a otros más compactos, éstos tienen mejor y mayor driver. Hay que coger el truco para ponérselos, pienso que pueden no ser adecuados para oídos pequeños. Es muy útil que la cajita tenga unos LEDs informativos que indican la carga que tiene. Puerto USB-C y los auriculares tienen botón físico para las funciones. Tengo otros táctiles de Audio Technica y a veces la zona táctil es demasiado sensible y se activa con un roce de ropa y otras parecen no reaccionar... prefiero de lejos los botones físicos. Los propios auriculares y la caja son más grandes pero el sonido no tiene comparación. En largas escuchas a veces resulta incómodo, basta con quitarlo un momento y recolocar. Se sujetan muy bien a diferencia de los otros que menciono. Los recomiendo totalmente. El modo de actualización a través de app de móvil no es muy intuitivo, sigánse las indicaciones e instrucciones con paciencia para no inutilizarlos durante un upgrade.

(Acquistate in sconto a 50€ e per quel prezzo sono surreali, un must have) Funzionano alla perfezione ben oltre le aspettative con una confezione solida, audio fenomenale, batteria di lunga durata e ottime in chiamata. Una pecca è il design poco accattivante conseguenza però di una scelta tecnica per evitare interferenze tra batteria e driver audio, il risultato è un audio stupefacente portando la cuffia a sporgere di poco dall'orecchio. Se si predilige un suono eccezionale al design questa è la cuffia giusta.
