The package was sealed. Upon opening the lid, there's an extra lid inside as well to keep it from spilling which is a good thing. As soon as you open it, you can instantly smell the cocoa. But for me it's more chocolate. I don't mind since it's so addicting! I am not sure if it stays on even after you rinse. One thing I think that can be improved is probably the beads and cream ratio. Because it feels more cream than the scrubs so I do not feel the exfoliation that much, if you know what I mean. Regardless, this is a good deal for your money. I think this will last me for ~1-3 months.
