While this wrist pad is great, it wasn't the right height for me and ended up getting returned. But ended up purchasing the same brand, same material, just taller. It is a rubber wrist rest, with a thin material on top. It would be great for a laptop or a low keyboard, but not for mechanical keyboard.

The material and thickness is kind of like basic mouse pad material. It doesn’t provide a lot of cushion but a little bit of elevation. I’m getting used to it still but I do like it for my low profile keyboard so far. As you can see in the photo, Amazon folded it when shipping it and so it has a big crease in the middle. I’m hoping this clears up over time. It does smell strange at first - like chemicals.

(Joe Sena here) Purchased this, along with the laptop keyboard pads, after pinching a nerve from 3 weeks of 10 hour days in a clenched, hunched position. Realized that the sharp edges of my desk and my laptop were putting acute pressure on my mid forearm and the heels of my hands. Combined with conservative self-care (ice, rest, etc), these helped me return to work even as the pain was subsiding. A week later, pain is gone and I'm more comfortable at my desk. This is called a "wrist rest", but to keep my arms at a greater than 90-degree angle (which I knew this 30 years ago), the pad sits right under my mid-forearms, which is right at the srp edge of the desk. Like the laptop pads, I have it hanging about 1/2 inch over the edge of the desk so it acts as "J-shaped" cushion. One important note: I suffer from contact dermatitis and psoriasis - after the fist day of use, a rash flared up on my forearms. I simply covered the pad with a cloth and the rash never returned. If you have sensitive skin, please keep this in mind before writing an unkind review...it's your skin, not the pad ;) Inexpensive and a big problem solver. Thank you!

I bought this for use with my apple keyboard. I love the slim profile. Works well with that keyboard; however, the skin/covering peels very easily, just from normal use.

I really like the design of this wrist rest. It fits the Apple keyboard perfectly and is thin enough to fit right up to the bottom edge of the keyboard which makes typing feel natural and effortless. the description is exactly what you get, no fluff, no lies. Despite being so thin, it's actually very comfortable. The bottom surface sticks nicely to my desk. I got the Grifiti wrist rest* for my Apple magic trackpad too. It's the perfect size as well. I highly recommend these pads. Delivery was on time. Packaging was professional. Man I'm sad about this. I've got 2 Grifiti wrist pads and I love them. I have had my slim one for my Apple Keyboard for more than 5 years now, the edges are peeling up a little bit but it's still so good. I ordered a second one recently for a new work setup and it's extremely disappointing. Honestly. It's still a decent pad and if I didn't have the old one I'd give it 4 stars. But if you are looking for a Grifiti pad replacement from your old one years ago, it isn't the same. **SIDE BY SIDE** - The new pad is NOT branded. It's a generic all black wrist pad with a Grifiti sticker in the back that you remove. - The grip texturing on the bottom is not as aggressive. It's softer and more slippery than my old one (even after 5+ years) - The length is slightly longer. This isn't a huge deal, actually, just an observation. - The thickness is slightly thinner. - The foam is less firm. THIS is the big one for me. I can already tell that the quality of the foam material itself is not as good as my old one. It feels slightly less supportive and I wonder about it's longevity. tl;dr - The old Grifiti pad is 10x better quality. The one I received doesn't have branding. It feels thinner, less supportive, and overall lower quality materials than my old one. Still a decent value pad. But will be returning.

I just got this and am instantly in love with it. I was getting calluses on my wrists from my wood desk and wanted something softer to work with my Logitech K750 keyboard (Great keyboard!). Its slim design works perfectly with my keyboard. The cushion is wonderfully soft without being so soft that your wrists get "locked" into place and difficult to move. Having used this type of material in the past, I'm expecting some discoloration over time as my skin oil works into the fabric. But, I'm not expecting something that has contact with my hands to stay pristine over time. I'd definitely recommend this product!

Perfect product for my slim keyboard. Although it has a subtle smell (new plastic smell) it goes away quickly and it’s perfectly slim and comfortable.

This is the 2nd of these I've had, and they are sized well enough to fit the Logitech T650 that I use it with. I use my trackpad a LOT, and they last 2 or 3 years before they start to look a bit shabby, although my old one is still functional, but as it's in my workshop, it doesn't look pretty. It saves the heel of your hand getting that annoying shiny look from overuse, and if you're a sufferer from carpal tunnel restriction, it'll help with that a little too.
