I installed this thing on a Goodman unit and it worked like a charm. It appeared to be well built, the terminals/lugs were perfect. Would buy again.

This contactor does its job, and is easy to install. However, it does not list the torque specs. Because the lugs are screwed into the busbar, they will start rotating when tightened correctly.The lugs are screwed into the busbar instead of claping the busbar. This introduces an extra connection, and unnecessary point of failure.the lugs get in the way of unclipping the contactor cover. It is thus impractical to remove the cover and inspect the contacts -- the ligs would have to be removed.

Easy install and has been working fabulously all summer.

I first must say a giant THANK YOU to my independent HVAC service man. When he did my annual service/tune-up he told me the contactor/relay had pitted contacts and would need to be replaced soon before it failed. He knew I have some mechanical and electrical skills so he asked me if I felt comfortable replacing it myself.This is the exact same part he would have used and I would have ended up paying around $200 for the service call.
