Adds a nice touch of color. Went right on my 2017 Wrangler JKUR with no issues. I haven't noticed any loss of reception. It's been through the automatic car wash several times and no issues. The red is still as bright as it was when I installed it a few months ago. Very happy with it so far.

Happy to put this on my jeep

This thing broke off the very first time I took it through the car wash! Now I have a broken threaded base stuck in my antenna hole! Don't know how I will be able to remove the base from my car. I can't even get the refund on this as its somewhere in the car wash! I bought this as its supposed to be safe in the car wash due to its size. Someone forgot to tell the antenna its supposed to be safe in a car wash!

Simple and quick to change the old antenna and I haven’t noticed a difference in reception yet. Now my flimsy antenna won’t be hitting every low limb in sight off road and looks much cooler now. Great product!Update: Do expect a loss of radio signal. If you don’t use radio, perfect because it looks really good! I will probably replace it back with my old antenna because I enjoy radio and live in a rural area in Texas. Minus one star for reception loss. Otherwise, this antenna would look and function perfectUpdate: I’ve been meaning to put my old antenna back on. The loss of signal in my area is really bad most of the time. Even with the old antenna it has its bad days I guess. Heads up if you use you’re antenna for radio and have bad reception already

If you’re looking for a cheap way to upgrade your Jeep’s looks, then look no farther. Simple install, takes just a couple minutes, and the red matches the red for Rubicon trim. Make sure both the threads on your Jeep and the threads on the antenna are clean and free of powder coating. Antenna is rigid no flex, and reception for a short antenna especially at this price point is great.

The Antenna was great, I have other red components and this went niceley on the jeep. I would recommend when tightening it on, put something over the antenna itself where you grab to tighten it with your wrench. I noticed some paint flaked off but like a paper towel or something to cover it would work.
