Excellent product for the price I don’t think you can find any welder for that price very easy to used just plug it in and dial in voltage and weld I had been using old antique neighbor gave it to me weight 200lbs, only if I know this small welder this good would buy it long time ago.

This unit is really awesome. Dirt daubers killed my Miller unit. After reading other reviews I bought it and used it yesterday. Welded ¼” plate to support and then thin wall to the ¼” plate.

It works great! Decent material construction for the main body housing, although the cords are a bit short and the electrode clamp that comes with is a little flimsy compared to others, but for the price and being able to weld most any SMAW electrodes it's hard to best. I got a Lincoln electric electrode holder to replace the one this came with and am considering longer cables but that's mostly just me, the welder itself does its job well. Some more minor issues, for example, no specifications plate on the device to tell anyone what it's amperage draw and such is... kind of necessary on any industrial electrical device guys.

Dirty, rusty, pitted mower deck needed repair and mig was unable. Stick was the way to go and this machine was able to make it happen. Used on several projects and we'll worth every penny. Would buy again.

This is a neat little welder. Probably doesn’t actually reach 250 amps as claimed, but I was able to burn some welds into 1/4 inch plate I used on my trailer for a winch plate really well on about 200 (220v). The cables do feel cheap but it’s $84 what do you expect, they work. I ran straight through about 8 rods and it never overheated. My rods don’t stick as bad as my buzz box when starting, so I assume the hot start works as it should. I won’t be dragging out the buzz box anymore, not when this little lunch box welder performs like that. If you’re looking for a miller quality welder for $84 this isn’t it. If you weld 50 hours a week this isn’t for you. But if you need a cheap welder that does a pretty dang good job and burns hot, this is the one for you.
