Fujifilm xD-Picture Card 128 MB

I have an Olympus camera that is several years old and won't take the newer memory cards. It's really hard to find 128 MB and lower capacity cards these days, so I've stocked up on these, as my camera works perfectly well and I see no reason to get another one. Each of these cards lets me take up to 200 photos, so I no longer have to worry about running out of disk space when I'm on vacation.

I am very impressed with the quality of pictures taken by the two Fuji digital cameras I own. I think they take better pictures than cameras costing significantly more so I am locked into the XD format. Yes, it costs a little more than other formats but just wait for a sale / rebate as I did with each of the eight XD cards I have purchased.They do offer fast speed and help battery life. I have also bought a couple of XD accessories (USB readers that I have been impressed with). I prefer the 128 MB size cards to the larger size memory cards since they allow me to keep track of what pictures I take when on vacation. For example, I use one card one day in so and so place and another card in a different location...just my system that works for me. A 128 MB card lets me take plenty of pictures at a 4 MP setting. I also won't lose a lot of pictures if one card would fail for some reason or be lost. I bought a small case that is custom made to accommodate the XD cards. I can fit 16 cards in a small metal case about 2.25" x 4" x .5" thanks to their small size.If it matters to you, some of these Fuji cards are made in Japan by Toshiba and some are made in Korea by Samsung. You can tell the difference since the Japan / Toshiba cards come in a slightly larger plastic case contained within the clamshell packaging.

what can I say? The memory card came on time and works great! My original card went nuts and drained the batterys in less than 1 hour even when tuned off. I almost threw the camera away, but I bought a new Fujifilm card and all is well. The camera works like new. Thanks to the great price, I took a chance that paid off handsomely. Amazon comes thru for me again.

Works as expected

My daughter gave me an old camera that needed this particular card. I couldn't find this at the local department store, you know, the one "where America shops." Amazon had it, so I bought it. Got an old camera with a new card for the price of the card. It does what its supposed to do. Is Amazon great??? or what?????

I received $19.99 off of this card as a promotion with my new digital camera, making this card the deal of the century. My co-worker, who has the same card and camera, was amazed at how inexpensive it was before the discount(he paid around 70 bucks!). The 128 mb size is great--I really don't want to screw around changing cards, but I think 256 mb might be excessive, unless I was going on vacation. The size worries me, because I think it might be very easy to loose, but the plastic case that comes with it is much, much bigger than the card--about the size of a chips ahoy chip cookie?--which may be a concern for those of you interested in this solely because of the tiny size.

I installed in my camera and instead of inserting it straight in I had to flip it over to insert it and it didn't work
