Did thay fix the issue the fan spinning up and down all the time on this monitor?

The issue was with early batches, later ones don’t have this issue at all and for those ones that did there is an easy firmware update that can fix the issue. My unit had this issue, after the firmware update it runs perfectly fine.

Anybody else’s x35 running hot at the cable panel?

I have mine on the wall so the stand mounting system is not in the way. Mines is hot there aswell I’m assuming it will be the exit for the fan so there isn’t nothing to worry about. Hope this helps George

How’s the fan noise?

Beautiful screen, very happy with it. Noise really doesn't bother me in everyday use. My laptop fan makes more noise, which is what I have it connected to at present.

Will this monitor fit on a desk munt?

It comes already fitted on a stand, It is a very heavy monitor so I suggest using the stand that it comes with.
