This is a wonderful book chocked full of information that both newcomers and old hands will find useful. There are lots of color pictures and plenty of tips to help guide the builder through all aspects of their project. History on the craft and bottles in general is not forgotten. Explanations are clear, concise and abundant. Imagination is an important aspect of this hobby and Capt. Dan Berg has provided that in spades. A welcome addition to my collection!!

Unique and cool, just loved checking out the description and tricks. Setting next to vantage bottle that I may just have to try and fill at some point.

But this is a companion book 2 ship building bottle kit. Very informative and even more detail to build your own from scratch. Lots of pictures!

an interesting little addendum to this old craft hobby but far too much photographic content given to the author et al and not enough technicalinstruction on materials . amazon service excellent as always in my experience -many thanks.

This is a pretty good book to start with. Just be aware if you're new like me, there is a lot between the lines that he assumes you know. The templates for the hull and sail are very useful. I would recommend this book.

I have his first book so I got this one too. I wish I bought this one first because it's better than the first one since it covers everything he did in the first and then some. I guess because he's better at it now.

Got what I ordered fun read and a craft I can share with grandchildren. Easy to follow guidelines.
