Worth it
Super good product, just what I needed for the drain at the restaurant

good so far
great solution to keep food particles out of the grease trap and helps with clogging. Also we have critters in the plumbing and they cannot get out this way.

Nice product~ just too small
Would be perfect if it was a tad bit bigger. Was supposed to be 10x10 and falls a little short

Can be used for other purposes. Fits drain size
Reasonably stiff metal, so it can be used for other purposes. For example, I needed a stainless steel perforated box to hold a pump above the bottom of a sump, so I attached this pan to the bottom of the pump. For floor drains, you will want one with a square grate at least 9.9" across, with a lip that holds the grate 8.7" to 9.6" square, a hole more than 2.6" deep under that lip, and the hole must be at least 7.5" square at the 2.6" depth. The pan drops in under the grate. There is no handle on the pan, but the perforations make it easy to grip with two hands to pull out. Much easier to use this pan than to snake the drain.

Quality
This product tends to fall apart quite easily, which is frustrating. I think they should consider upgrading its design to make it more durable. For example, the floor drain mechanism shouldn’t break so easily—it’s something that gets a lot of use and should be sturdier. That said, it does a good job of catching debris before it goes down the pipe. If they could improve its durability to last a longer time, it would be an excellent product.
