Good bit of kit to offer that piece of mind. Our boiler is in a cupboard in my daughters room so having a good carbon monoxide alarm is essential to me. Simple to install with detailed but clear instructions. You have the option to mount (fixings supplied) it or simply free stand in a convenient spot. Very easy to test that sound on the alarm is working as it should, much like a smoke alarm you simply press and hold the button. There are lights on front which flash to tell you it is working or if there is a fault. It runs on two AA batteries (supplied). An important device to have which I highly recommend.

Easy to install, comes with a clear set of instructions to test and set up your alarm (3beeps followed by another 3 beeps followed by 1 beep during test and you will see a green indicator every 30 seconds in Operate Mode). Recommended to test it every week to ensure its in a working condition It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling or can be free standing too. It comes with AA batteries. I would highly recommend to people looking to buy a CO detector. Worth the money . I would say that the safety level is quite high . The packaging was nice as well and easy to open. The noise level is good , loud enough to hear as well. The brightness was not too bright either . It look really nice to look at and works well too.

I’m impressed with this twin pack carbon monoxide detector. The two detectors are compact, inoffensive to look at and work straight out of the box as long life batteries are included. I have put one near the log burner behind a plant and the other in the next room near the boiler. I bought these to replace my previous monitors that started beeping at the 10 year replacement mark. This newer version is more slimline and is easier to test the batteries etc. The quality seems great and given the previous ones lasted 10 years, I hope these ones will too. An absolutely essential bit of kit (indeed a legal requirement) for everyone with a log burner or gas fire, and well worth the money considering there is no alternative - carbon monoxide is odorless, tasteless and invisible. I’d recommend them to everyone for peace of mind.

Excellent piece of kit, at a good price. Has more than one signal, the main one of course being the alarm, which results in a flashing red light. When all is well, it simply flashes a green light every 30 seconds. It also has a "memory of CO" function, whereby the red light flashes every 60 seconds if, in the last 24 hours it detected a high level, but apparently not high enough to go full alarm. It runs on two AA batteries, two Duracell versions of which are supplied. Is also nicely designed in attractive beige with rounded corners - where today everything has to be dirge black or grey with sharp edges, so it seems. Supplied with fixing screws and plugs if you want it fixed to a wall.

Simple to set up and use. Instructions clear. Good value and batteries included. Straight forward replacement for an older version, even the fixings were matching.

Fairly well priced. A known and appears trusted brand of detector. Who knows if it will actually work when you need it to but it was easy to install the batteries and place into position. A shame they do expire after 10 years, unlike smoke detectors that just keep on going, providing you replace the batteries. Great to have batteries included. A shame they are Duraleak...sorry Duracell branded.
