Soap is cheap but takes 1-2 weeks before it lathers well. Smell/fragrance is barely noticeable to be honest. I do not feel moisturized after using it. Texture is pretty hard and rough. Does the job a soap would typically. Hasn’t caused me any skin issues.

There is no better all around soap on the planet! I developed sensitivity suddenly where stick deodorant and body washes caused my underarms to itch all day long and I developed rashes mostly in the summer months. It was awful! I decided to give it a try because everything else had failed. I did not expect good results, but I am very, very happy to say that I was so wrong! Ivory soap caused me NO redness, NO itching, and NO rashes. I feel so clean and fresh. I honestly believe that I have my life back after struggling for so long. For those with summer skin allergies or all year long skin allergies and sensitivity, please try Ivory soap. Body washes are too harsh with detergent and bar soap is absolutely the best. Ivory soap is all that I use now and I will never use body wash again. There is a reason why this old, classic brand of soap is so marvelous and I will never stop using it. Customer for life!
