Great locking idea works well very visible and noisy when need it

LOVE THIS BIKE ALARM. !!! if you are shopping in a mall, you may not hear it, but everyone around it well and it definitely would grab my attention. Worth every penny! I’m certainly going to buy it again ! I usually don’t write reviews, but this was worth it

I have another well known brands same priced disk lock (starts with kr) and that locking mechanism is a bit better and more solid with a mechanism more difficult to pick but realistically most people aren’t going to stand there and try to pick a lock. The alarm on this is what will get people to leave it alone especially if you’re mostly parked where there’s a lot of people or close to where you can hear. Gives warning and is sensitive enough to go off if people start to mess with the bike and loud enough to notice. This is for my city motorcycle and it’s almost always within hearing distance.

This alarm is well worth getting. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made so far on Amazon due to the fact that you can use the alarm portion on the security lock or not use the security alarm on the lock. I love that it comes with three set of keys a bag and Allen key to take the alarm portion of the lock. It’s very easy to set lock it press the button two times if you shake the alarm a couple of times you’ll set it off and it is very loud well worth the purchase.

You will get a decent disc lock with a really sensitive alarm. In fact im using this alarm instead of the one inside the bike when im parking it outside close to my door. Never had a false alarm so far. The alarm is really sensitive tough, once activated any shaking on the bike even if is just a weak smack will activate the warning for a few seconds, if vibration continues it will set off and you will have to open the lock to deactivate it. (i had a warning when my dog started barking next to the alarm, just air vibration, is that sensitive). Great if you park the bike close so you can hear the alarm and deactivate it fast if is a false alarm, but be aware if you park it at night and you live on a building. If there are false alarms by vibrations it will surely wake up your angry neighbors.

One of my favorite things about this lock that is different from many is that it will chirp several times before going off. This saves the battery, as well as reduces the likelihood of false alarms. Common examples of this (in the city) are when there is construction nearby, or a large vehicle rolls through, or you get on your own bike having forgotten to remove it -- you have a chance to do so. Otherwise, great little study lock. Fits my Vespa with 13" wheels (not a lot of clearance). Battery lasts a relatively long time.
