Very good olive oil
Our Portuguese cousin told us about this olive oil and so he ventured out and bought it. Excellent investment… We love it.

Good Olive Oil
I've been using other olive oils for years from Italy, then Greece. When I tasted Portuguese olive oil in a Portuguese restaurant I was hooked. I drink 1-2 tablespoons per day for seasoning and health purposes and use it on salads, soups, bread, pasta, etc. and pour it over cooked meats and other dishes. I don't normally cook with it as olive oil has a lower heating point which makes it less stable. This olive oil has a nice fruity and smooth flavor, with a peppery finish in the throat which is the sign of healthy polyphenols. I wasn't familiar with how to open the spout but found a YouTube video that showed how to do it.

Great Stuff
Tangy flavor with nice peppery finish. Reasonable price for the high quality. Love the picture of the guy on the can but have no idea who he is supposed to be.

Flavorful and delicious
I grew up on this oil and without a doubt it is the most flavorful non-boutique oil. It always had to be bought at a Portuguese market as it is hard to find. I found that other oils, Italian and Spanish, just do not have the rich olive flavor. It is the closest I have found to freshly pressed oil made my family overseas. I have given cans to friends who are surprised at how rich the flavor. The price on Amazon is terrific and it came very quickly and well packed. This is my favorite oil and am thrilled I can buy it here.
