I bought a couple Jorgensen clamps probably 15 years ago. Orange with silver rail, same design as what I just purchased but not as long in span. At first, I noted the plastic flex protectors on pair received and thought, no, I need metal on wood (working with oak, doesn't mostly care about clamp pressure) for a tight glue fit. Well, of course, these come off! Will keep for something delicate that needs a softer touch. And, bonus, these protectors fit my older clamps. My older set has classic wooden handles and new set has black gripper-type hard plastic composite handles. These new handles work fine, just a bit harder on hands, and newer screw mechanisms seem exactly same as older screw mechanisms. What I like about Jorgenson is the easily adjusted gross fit setting with the metal tabs on notched slider rail. Good deal and great simple yet well made durable clamps.

Good, stong clamps. Only downside is the rubber feet are too soft/cheap, and they will move and slide if not 100% clamped straight

These are very high quality and strong. Pretty much a must-have for the garage or workshop. They work great. The only thing I didn't like was that the rubber tip on the top seems too loose and you have to keep putting them back on if you're not very careful. Ugh.

Awesome clamps for welding ..

A little pricey but worth the price
