Women's Victorian Rococo Dress Inspration Maiden Costume

I bought this '1791's lady Women's Victorian Rococo Dress Inspration Maiden Costume' (Blue, X-Small) for my daughter for Halloween. When I first took it out of the package, I was a little discouraged because it seemed huge and there was so much material, but it turned out to be absolutely stunning. Even though I got the smallest size available, it was still too big for my petite and slim 14yo daughter (4'11" and under 90 lbs). She was able to put it right on without even unzipping it on the side, but we love it so much that we are determined to make it work! I tightened the laces in the back until they couldn't be tightened any tighter, had her wear my old chunky, high-heeled lace-up boots for the extra height, and had her put on a petticoat underneath (not included) to prevent the dress from dragging on the floor. With just a little bit more work, I think it will be perfect. It really needs a crinoline or 6-hoop/full-length petticoat underneath to make it more "pouffy" (which we just ordered). In the picture, she is wearing a 3-hoop petticoat, which is not long enough because you can tell where it ends by the way the dress drapes over it. Also, the choker is too loose for her neck, so I plan on cutting off the excess length at the back of the neck and adding a velcro closure to replace the ribbon. I might even remove the ruffle from the choker for a more delicate look. All the colors are pretty but glad we went with the Blue. The Blue is vibrant yet gothy and does not give off a witchy or vampirey or even Christmasy vibe like the other colors might. Overall, it really is excellent quality for the price and not itchy like other costumes tend to be. I will be returning two other similar costumes since, when she put this one on, we just knew this one was the keeper.

Color was spot on, very nice. Back is adjustable I'm 4ft"9in and bust is a 30in fit grate. The choker is made for thicker-neked people but very nice fabric soo soft.

Super fun for a costume event. Costume quality so not high end, but looks nice. Like that adjustable so fits many body sizes.

Firstly - I am about 5 6' and weigh more than I should - I have a belly and am about 20 lbs over my ideal weight. My bra size is 38-40 D. I got this dress in a few colors and sizes in order to see what worked best for me and knew I would return the rest. The best part of my experience apart from the fabulous quality - is the seller's customer service which I will get to after telling you about the dress itself. I ordered the red, blue, and purple. The large fit but was a tad too tight and very hard to get on and off. The XL is perfect. The fact that there is a tie in the back makes this perfectly adjustable. I ordered a hoop skirt as well and that makes a huge difference in the look. Once I put the hoop on, it made the whole dress flare out and looks amazing. The quality is superb. I need this for a costume but this is definitely not your regular cheap costume material. Very beautifully made with attention to detail and the design is stunning. I returned the ones that didn't fit and although at first I was sure I wanted the purple one - I ended up liking the blue much more. But, the blue one wasn't prime and I needed to get it within two weeks. When I added it to my cart the dates given would have been after the event I needed it for. So - I emailed the seller and asked if I would get it on time (basically giving them 2 weeks to ship to me). They replied within hours and said yes, it would arrive on time. So - I paid $8 for shipping (not the expedited shipping amount of $24) and not only did I get it within the two weeks - but it actually showed up within one week! I adore the blue dress and the seller customer service is exactly what you want from a good seller. Will definitely buy from them in the future if I need anything like this again. If you're hesitating bcs of size, quality, service...don't!! You won't be disappointed. Email them and ask your questions. Highly recommended!

For the price, this is an awesome costume! It looks fantastic on, and the details look great from afar. Upon close inspection, you can see the details in the skirt are not fine embroidery. The drawstring in the back is a flimsy, cheap, thin piece of ribbon. But, again, this costume is wonderful for the price!

I am in the market to buy seven ball gowns for our Bridgerton’s ball. My mother is 72 years young, height is 5‘5“, approximately 175 pounds, She typically wears a size large or extra large. This gown was purchased in a size extra large. It’s a good quality costume that is soft and not itchy. She is wearing a petticoat underneath to give it a flair. it touches the floor, but she had on flip-flops. I told her she could wear her black sketcher's because no one can see the shoes anyway and she’ll be comfortable the whole night. The material is not too thin, so it falls over the petticoat well. It’s color is just as advertised. There’s a small zipper on one of the sides. I didn’t check to see if it was on both sides, but I know it’s one zipper on one of the sides underneath the arm. Also, the dress is somewhat versatile because you don’t have to wear a petticoat and it still looked very nice. I received two of the same dresses, so one of them will have to be returned for a different color and size. Hope this helped. 😊

My dress is gorgeous. This is my second dress. The first dress was beautiful but too small. I had to check the size chart and odored another dress which is the right size and it’s beautiful. One picture is with a petticoat and the other is with a bustle.

De acuerdo al precio, es un excelente trabajo, costura y talla, no viene reducido y las terminaciones del vestido excelente. Si lo recomiendo
