Does this timer use a windup clock-like timer function, or does it need ac power to operate? i’d like to use it in an automotive 12vdc application.

This timer uses a timer function similar to a wind-up clock and does not need AC power to work.

Does it have a stay on feature?

The one I got has a Stay On setting when turned counter clockwise first. I installed it in a Toastmaster toaster oven

Do you have a knob that will fit this timer?

I used the existing knob from the timer I am replacing. I bought this to replace a timer on a black and decker toaster oven.

Will it work with 24v dc?

I bet it would as long as the current draw is 15 amps or less. What are you using it for? I have an extra one and it has a bell attached and is rated 125v 15 amps and 250v 15amps
