This is the best car mount system for my phone I have ever had. First, it sticks in places others don't. My dash does not come with a lot of flat surfaces, and this item is small yet mighty. The phone does not move, and I can put the phone where I can actually see it without the phone obstructing my view of the road. The rotation ability is nice if the sun is causing a glare, it is stable, and the magnet is nice and flat so I can still use the full function of my case. Total winner - you can't go wrong with this product.

My new car isn't vent mount friendly and I didn't want to use the cupholder mount from my previous car. I have limited spots to mount a cell phone and most of the suction cup mounts are too big, plus the place I wanted to mount it was curved a bit and suction cups wouldn't work correctly I don't think.This mount is the answer, very small, sticks on and stays on. Comes with super thin magnetic mounting disks to mount on your phone, either inside the case, on the phone itself or on the outside of the case.It looks good, works good and is just what I was looking for. Highly recommended !

You will notice in the pictures I have provided that My phone has one of the small connectors that comes with the product upon purchase. My wifes phone does not have the fixture, and still works incredibly well wth the magnetic mount! Okay so it works. Is it the best? NO. I would say this has a lot of cons. But heres some pros & consPRO:- cheap- it does work (with some drawbacks)- Holds the phone in place (where i am the road isnt smooth so hitting a pothole or speed bump doesnt move the phone & phone hasnt dropped yet- adhesive for the magnets & car mount is SUPER STRONG (where i put the car mount is on a curve and not a flat surface and its holding)CON:- have to put magnet outside of case (wasnt strong inside case... (atleast for me)- must put magnet in the middle... cant put it on the top or bottom or else the phone will come off or tilt when driving- if you put magnet in the middle you cant wireless charge properly- the adhesive on the magnet is super strong, so be careful where you place it cause once its on its really hard to take it off (you need like alcohol to weaken the adhesive) (scratched my phone case trying to take the magnet off)Honestly i would try something else. If you got the money try something like ohsnap which acts like a grip and a mount... bought one and gonna try it soon. BUT if you dont this WORKS. Just not for me.OH and the box came with a card that says you won like free car mounts.... dont do that. Its on a sketchy site thats NOT SECURED.

I love how small yet strong this is! My car has no place to rest my phone and I don't like the bulky, plastic ones that mount to the windshield.This fits perfectly on the small area above my A/C vent without blocking airflow. My phone is perfectly positioned just behind my steering wheel and easy to view as well as adjust.When my phone isn't attached it doesn't look hideous.Easy to use, phone attaches easily, very securely yet easy to remove.My original shipment was missing the magnets but the seller corrected immediately and generously with a coupon to purchase replacement magnets for mere pennies.Highly recommend this product and seller. My husband purchased this for me because I needed a phone holder for my IPhone 11 in my 2015 Toyota RAV4. I loved the concept of it because if you have a RAV4 you know the console area is a little strange. I refuse to get an AC mount because I don’t want the slits to break (I know it’s just in my head but hey, that’s me). Anyway, the description says that if your phone charges wirelessly not to place the round metal backing above the Qi chip on your phone. I made the mistake in placing it above it and it would not charge on my wireless charger. (That’s my fault.) So I tried removing the backing from my case (I was too afraid to stick directly to my iPhone 11.) Anyway, I tried removing it the way the instructions advised and it would not work. We tried fishing line, we tried floss, we did rubbing alcohol...nothing worked. My husband had to pry it from the case. At least the adhesive is really good. So I used the second magnetic backing and lowered it to below the Qi chip. I set it on my wireless charger and it worked. Then I went to my car and tried putting it on the holder. With the magnetic part on that are of the phone, it was not as sturdy as in the middle of the phone. I also tried to turn it landscape more to use navigation and it did not work at all. The phone would fall off. So if you buy this with a phone that can charge wirelessly, be prepared to give up wireless charging or don’t buy this at all. It’s nearly impossible to have both. Upon attempting to remove (the same was as instructed in the instructions) the swivel ball part that was stuck to my car, it scratched! We had to twist the attachment part and take it off that way because it was on way too sticky. I’m not sure if it was that adhesive but it damaged the dash part it was on. That’s what the picture is of that I uploaded. I tried removing the scratches with Goo Gone and alcohol and nothing. This is upsetting because now I have to buy a whole new part for my scratched car. I would not buy this or recommend this to anyone as it cost more that I imagine it would because now I have to buy a car part. This might work for you but in my situation it didn’t. I’m not saying it was a bad product, it’s a great idea and it’s worked for many but it didn’t work for me. And it wasn’t stated in the description that these might be issues. Buyer beware.

I have had many of these Caw Car Mounts in many vehicles since I first came across them. The first ones I bought are still the best. The original design had better material quality and range of motion...the ball could be mounted on the edge of a horizontal surface and the device could still be mounted vertically. That is not possible with this new, plastic (original was metal), ball in socket design. Also, the mounting surface (between this and the device being held) was larger and had much better grip on the device. My phone now rotates on the mount as my truck goes over bumps in the road. Never an issue with the original. I could mount my iPad Mini to the original design with no problem, not the case with the current model. The rubber ring was larger in diameter and thicker than the now rubber emblem used in its place.Overall still a great product, but definitely a downgrade from the original. Somewhere along the way they started shipping the original design with thicker 3M adhesive pads...this was also a mistake as they often got soft in the heat and tore apart repeatedly. Fortunately the new design is shipping with the same thin 3M adhesive as the original. The original, metal units I first installed with the thin 3M are still going strong and have never had to be remounted or replaced. Maybe I will just take the extra 3M adhesive pads shipped with the new mount and use them with the original style mount to once again have the best possible product & installation.

I’ll start off by saying that I don’t have any significant complaints about this product. It’s worked as well as I could’ve hoped and I love it. The reason I bought this specific mount is because of the tapered magnetic part. If you look in my attached photos, I have an iPhone 11 in a Spigen Tough Armor case that has a round cutout over the Apple logo. This mount fits PERFECTLY in that little cutout so it gets a strong hold and my case doesn’t interfere with the attachment at all. It’s got just enough space to easily grab onto plate every time and doesn’t rub against the case. I can also rotate my phone between portrait and landscape while it’s attached to the mount and it’s never even seemed to come close to jarring loose. Also, the mount’s been in place since December 2021 and is still solidly attached. If you have a similar situation or need, I fully recommend this mount.Now, some more details for anyone who cares. For reference, I drive a 2017 Ford Fusion with the 3.5” screen. You can see in the pictures that this mount doesn’t require a lot of space, and I chose to place it right above my A/C dial. My phone covers the dial when mounted but it doesn’t touch the dial and I can still use it. Also, it’s hard to tell in the pictures but the little metal plate does press the case out slightly. I attached a picture of the case with and without the plate to show the tiny difference. I think it affects the kickstand function a little bit but not enough for me to care. I also used the biggest plate and I’ve wondered if downsizing might change anything but haven’t gotten around to it. The last thing is a minor gripe. One of the metal discs came attached to the instruction card which ruined the card and the adhesive on that disc. This was annoying but I ultimately didn’t care because there’re a couple more discs and adhesive pads and the instructions are self-explanatory.

Visually looks great, however when you apply the disc to the phone, it prevents you charging the phone via desktop chargers - don't buy it unless you use cable chargers
