SDS Official US Military MOLLE II Army ACU FLC Fighting Tactical Assault Vest Carrier

Very nice vest at a super price!!! ..... BUT ...... BUT ..... be very aware that although it is fully adjustable at the waist and you WILL be able to zip it up, be aware that it will take some time to figure it out AND then make it fit you. I take a size 46 jacket and I got it to zip up with plenty of extra adjustment at the waist zipper .... after about 30 minutes of flying blind and cussing a blue streak wrestling with the thing. DO NOT cut anything thinking you have to do this to open it up. On the outside, at the sides, where it goes from 3 to 2 Molle webs on top of the camo, is where you adjust it. This looks to be sewn shut and the size locked in. Tabs on both sides are slipped in under the webbing, they are NOT sewn in. See my photo. Push up and down on these tabs and you'll see them move. Now, push one end all the way up and try and pry one end out. You can also stick a finger under it in the middle and pull it out. You'll get it. When you get both sides out of the webbing you should be able to get the vest to slide apart. You'll want to balance both side tabs to center the shoulder straps before putting them back in when you get it to your size. These are used of course, so you may find evidence of that, such as taped straps. However, they are in excellent condition and all parts for proper fit.. These can also be improved with dye, if you do not favor ACU pattern. Simple RIT dye can make these much better.

Recieved this T.A.V. in a timely fashion. The one I recieved was brand new, no stains, no "mud" , no Sharpie-art from previous owners.. The vest is alot shorter than I was expecting, ending just below belly-button level, but this may be due to the fact that I wear a 4X shirt, and the vest is standard issue for an "average" size person.. The adjustability is there, after some head scratching (and discovering that there is an integrated belt in the lower portion of the vest) I was able to fit the vest to my "unique" frame. I am useing the vest to carry two 25 shot-shell fold down pouches, two double 45acp mag pouches, as well as a pistol holster, large Tac-light and a single compartment 8"X8" dump pouch. The load carry is relatively comfortable cosidering the weight, and the open back allows you to wear a back-pack without effecting the alignment of the vest. All the pouches matched the MOLLE loops perfectly, except the dump-pouch, but this is an issue with the pouch, not the vest. Overall a good product, with lots of oppertunity for adjustment/customization. Arrived in good shape. A great buy

In great condition! Has a couple of rust spots and smelled like the CIF. After a good wash it smells fine. Not bad for the price. I plan on dying it to fit my AO.

High quality vest for the money. The price is just right and the vest has so many customizable properties to make it suit "You". Great for hunting and sporting. Has really helped cut down on carrying a heavy range bag back and forth. Shipping was fast.

I bought this vest to carry tools. I put different bags on it. It is made well. BUT it is absolutely not comfortable, the handle is hard and rubs your neck until it bleeds. The load is distributed unevenly and after a few days my neck and shoulders ache. So this thing is useless for me.
