Medical Astrology for Health Practitioners: A Healer's Guide

This was an exciting introduction to the insights that medical astrology can provide! I am very new to the subject. Actually when I first got this book I hid it, because it is such a different subject, I was nervous about sharing my interest. Fast forward to after I had read a few beginning chapters and I was calling my friends to talk all about it and eagerly waiting for my boyfriend to come home so I could wave it in his face and ramble on enthusiastically about my fascinating new discovery! Haha! I am going to be exploring this subject a lot more to say the least, and have began telling everyone I know with strange as of yet undiagnosed ailments to look up Judith Hill! Seems like this method when done properly could be such an amazing short cut through to the true nature of disease.

So thankful I took a chance on this wealth of knowledge, such an easy read & although I knew most of the content it makes for a grrreat flipbook for any friends intrigued

A great book with practical, easy to understand information. Judith is a treasure trove of knowledge.

We could quickly grok the strongest techniques of traditional medical astrology without needingto master astrology! The text speaks directly to healers in a straightforward,practical manner. Signs are described as "Body Zones", and the traditional planetary of "Seat of Chronic Disease" and "Seat of Inflammation" introduced right off the bat, so clearly, and explained well. We loved the sections on "Doctor-Patient Compatibility", and useful Lunar tips for we herbalists. The section on "Health Idiosyncracies of the Twelve Signs" is as delightful as it is useful, and full of amazing insights. Delectable. This is the book we have been waiting for.

I would not recommend this book. There is very little new information and mostly references to read her other books for more detailed information.

Says for medical professionals, but still a great resource for beginner or seasoned astrologer. Not for diagnosing a condition, but for possible problem areas at a glance in a client’s chart. Well written and very informative.

This is a great little book for the medical astrology novice who is already practicing medicine. If you have been studying astrology for some time this is not the book for you, Judith’s other medical astrology texts will be more appropriate coming from that angle.

worth reading Book ! Buy & read you will know

This book is almost laughable in its lack of information. There are chapter headings that make it look like Judith Hill, the author, is actually going to reveal information, but when you get to the chapter on,, say, effects of transits she tells you to either buy the book she wrote earlier on the subject, or refer back to a chart she included in the first chapter and use your own medical knowledge to figure things out for yourself. There are too many exclamations in the book. Amazing! Concepts with no further elucidation! Invest your money elsewhere to get real information. This author is too ditsy.
