I purchased this about 6 weeks ago because my bougainvillea was struggling. The plant was a gift from my son and daughter-in-law and I really wanted to keep it alive. The results of using this fertilizer were incredible. Within a week after first application there was lots of new growth a leaves. At 6 weeks, after second application of the fertilizer the plant is covered in lush leaves and tons of blooms. Be warned, the product smells like manure but it is very easy to apply.

Last year Hurricane Irma pulled our two mature red bougainvillea almost completely out of the ground. We had planted them in front of our entrance way over 24 years ago and had enjoyed their brilliant display of color every year. Knowing that boogs are extremely resilient, I propped them both back up, trimmed them down to about a foot tall, threw in some extra potting soil to help them drain well, and waited to see if they would recover. I have to admit that trimming them several times a year always resulted in cuts and scratches with the occasional thorn lodging in my hands or arms. However they have always been favorites of my wife and I couldn't just let them die. As expected, they recovered nicely although one took a bit longer. I decided to order this BGI fertilizer to help them both boost their growth and flowering capability and the results were very impressive. Both bloomed this winter with so many bracts that each plant appeared to be solid red. The limb growth was also strong and the roots obviously took hold as expected. Considering the damage suffered late last summer, our boogs outdid themselves by recovering and yielding the best flowering that we've ever had. Most fertilizers are pretty heavy handed and can cause more trouble than help. This BGI did the trick though and I'm pleased with the results.

After one month of using this plant food I saw major improvements with growth and the amount of blooms. If you decide to use this product on a different plant other than bougainvilleas make sure you do your research before using! This has a stronger mix than most plant foods and could cause issues with other plants. I love this product for all of my bougainvilleas!

I tried a different feed and did not work for me, but this one is much simpler, and after 4 years of no flowers, I finally got 2 after 6weeks.

Overnight results that I could not believe!! I have two bougainvillea scaling a 10' wall in my backyard and one looked good and tall while the other looked almost dead and half the size of the other. I read the directions, applied water and the tablespoon dosage per the height and literally overnight the tall one had more blooms and a deeper color and the short one had tiny leaf growth on every branch. For the past 4 months we have lived in this new home, the short one looked dry, yet it wasn't, branches were brittle looking and bare and there was hardly a spot of leaves or color. I know how hearty bougainvillea can be so I wasn't going to pull it up without trying the best fertilizer specifically for bougainvillea. I'm blown away by the results of Bougainvillea and I'm telling everyone about it! Each day more leaves appear and grow another 1/2 inch every day. I highly recommend this product and I also recommend you buy it and use it as soon as possible before giving up on your plant. I'm a true believer now!

This is amazing. I ordered a Bougainvillea plant and was barely making it and once I applied the product it started growing. This is about a 2 month difference. It has not bloomed yet.

We live in Phoenix. The winter destroyed my bougainvillea because of very cold nights. Trimmed the dead off of the plant. Ordered this which you only have to use once a month and now my bougainvillea is back and full bloom and looks better than ever. Super easy to use, just sprinkle the granules on the soil once a month and water it. That's it. The pic with the dogs shows how much the plant improved after 8 weeks and two rounds of bougain. Since it's toxic I did fence the soil off from my dogs where I spread the granules.

Excellent fertiliser ! My plant immediately came to life after one application. £100 is expensive for 2lb bag but it definitely works
