Superb quality so far
I have some rothco shemaghs and a few from Explore land which is okay but compared to the rothco, rothco is superb. It is more thicker than the explore land and more tightly sown. No product is perfect I saw one loose thread but removing it never made damage so most likely a spare from factory. I am very pleased with how it's slightly more thicker and very big. These are slightly bigger than the explore land brands. When it comes to shemaghs with standard colors, I am sticking with the rothcos unless I want specific colors to add to my wardrobe. I have a black and a foliage one still going strong to this day for 4 years and there's no sign of rips, discoloration and deformities. If you want a quality shemagh that will hold up with reasonable use, you can't go wrong with these. My only wish is I wish all the shemaghs are prime so I can get them faster and to a secure Amazon pick up location as my neighborhood is bad. Even so I'm willing to send to my sister's place and retrieve them later. Everytime I want a shemagh of standard colors, I stick with rothco. Lol I know I sound like I'm sponsored to them but I ain't lying, these feel so much solid and bigger than others on Amazon.

Decent quality Shemagh
Though not the best you'll find on the market, definetly a good price at $12 each. I bought two, to put in tmy backpacking pack as I live in the high desert. They are warm, full sized, durrable, and have two patterned sides, one with more black then the other. Desert Sand comes off as a stong dingy yellow, but overtime will fade into a more sand color (Same with most desert Shemaghs). One thing I perfer on this one over other Tactical Shemaghs, the frills are tided strips of cloth as opposed to extra threading tied off, harder for my dogs to tear it up if they get ahold of it (They love tearing up things with stringy frills), and less snags when walking through desert bush.Pros:WarmAfordable (can get a couple for the same price as single others)DurableLess snags and thread dragscons:More like cotton cloth then knitNot as thick as some others (not that big of an issue for a desert Shemagh)Edited to add 5th star, five years and still in good shape.

Shipped wrong color
As many a reviewer has already said this is a very nice product. Nicely made and preforms admirably. I did have to take away a star on my review though due to the following: I ordered TAN/BLK specifically because another reviewer had said that the 'desert sand' color is more yellow than any kind of tan or sand color. Recieved 'desert sand' anyway... I would ask to return it for the color I ordered, but it would probably cost as much to ship it back as I paid for it in the first place. While this is still a very nice item i can't use it for one of the main reasons i bought it in the first place which would be to use as a protector for my neck and the back of my head for paintball matches as yellow tends to stand out a touch in the woods. I will still however be able to use it as a scarf & facemask in the winter while i am working outside on the snow.

Five Stars
Very nice, color less vivid than depicted (which I like)

Simple, but yet covers so many bases.
I've seen so many video's and photos where solider's on both sides have been wearing Shemagh and so for around ten dollars I thought I would give it a shot. Worth it. There a so many ways you can use it and not just for a battle field. If you don't know what to do with it look up the dozens of videos on youtube that show you how to fold and wear them.

Nice Shemagh, bad color
I am acquainted with many types of sand, i.e. desert sand, beach sand, vag sand etc., however I have yet to see any sand the color of this "Desert Sand" shemagh. For what is advertised as a "tactical desert scarf" it looks more like something an old lady would wrap over her hair on a walk to the park after church. I would describe the color as a rather fruity yellow. In other respects this shemagh is of decent quality, and performs as expected, which is why I rated it two stars instead of one, even though I will never use it.

Eh
This product came promptly, which was great. I ordered the Desert Tan color - I received a nearly bright yellow shemagh instead. Lucky for the sellers I like yellow, but the color is inconsistent with their labeling. The quality of the fabric is plastic-based, which means it's strong and keeps you fairly warm, but if you're a smoker or are around heat/flame, this fabric heats up fast and melts. Not recommended for dryers, either.

Great shemagh; great quality
Very happy with this purchase. I immediately hand washed the shemagh assuming there would be some color run-off but didn't notice any. This is made in India and was put together well. Shemaghs are extremely useful for a variety of outdoor activities and getting a non-traditional color avoids the association with specific Arabic countries or political meanings.
