Drawstrings simply not long enough
For my purposes that kind of ruined these shorts. I got them specifically for the ability to tighten them up and zip my phone in the pocket when running. I wear between a 34 and 35 waist, ordered the "L" here and the strings aren't long enough to actually tie a full bow knot. In fact, looking up at the picture, it should have been apparent to me as that's roughly the same length as the strings on the pair I got. But this is a design flaw or they are not sizing the shorts properly. Here's betting that they used the same exact length string for each of the sizes. Oh well, I'll keep them to wear around the house.

Cord is not long enough for Large
The Large fits snugly and comfortably for this larger guy but the issue is the drawstring cord is definitely too short. The cord is sized exactly to the max circumference of the shorts where most American designs always have a longer cord intentionally to dangle. Have had to tie knots to keep the cord from sinking into the waist when you remove them or use restroom.I'm going to mark "fit as expected" because the product says its fitted cut (whereas a typical Large would be baggy) and so this cord issue is more a nuisance.

Where have these been all my life?
My first pair of "fitted" gym shorts, and I found myself awakening to the reality of just how ridiculous men look in basketball shorts at the gym after wearing them. These fit great, feel great, and look great. Super comfortable, and the zippered pockets are great for keeping my phone and/or keys tucked away and not falling out during exercise. Will probably buy another pair.

Drawstring on the outside.
Fits well. Mainly bought them for the zippers which do work well. Only thing is the drawstring is on the outside rather than the inside. Other than that, the shorts are good.
