For example, you will often get better results with 2 x 250W COB LEDs (total 500W) than you would with a single LED model that produces 500W. This is because more panels often make it easier for you to spread the light to where it’s needed. When it comes to growing cannabis, LED models with Use 10W Dual Chip Modules (each individual bulb is 5W) seem to get some of the best yields/watt of all LED models without a lot of worry about light-burning your plants. Generally, your goal with LED model should be 50-60 watts per square foot of grow space to get the best results. The most important thing to remember about choosing LED grow lights…. **Q: Are cob leds a good choice for growing cannabis?** A: These grow lights use huge COB (Chip on Board) LED “bulbs”. Each COB is incredibly bright and intense because they contain multiple LED chips in a small area. Each COB produce more intense light than other types of LEDs, Instead of having dozens of small diodes, each COB with strong lenses to direct the light down into the plant. These are rapidly gaining in popularity and are known for having deep penetration into the plant canopy. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Lol *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2020* Just as suspect as it looks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/151935642-biobri-1000w-led-grow-light-full-spectrum-grow-lamp-cob](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/151935642-biobri-1000w-led-grow-light-full-spectrum-grow-lamp-cob) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
