Responsibility Chart

I highly recommend this as a chore chart, behavior chart, or whatever the case! It comes with tons of options and a few blank tiles for you to write yourself. It is dry erase so you can just write directly on the board as well. Very cool and great quality!!

Got this because I thought it would be great for my kids to use so we could start chores and responsibilities. If it’s great on the side of your fridge, very sturdy I love that. There is a bag to put all the little stars in and an erasable marker to go with them. My kids absolutely love it.

This chore chart was purchased because my husband and I work two jobs and the kids needed to start helping out around the house more. Two of my three kids actually will sometimes wake up early on a school day to make extra time to do some extra chores. I also love that there are behaviors on it such as "no mean words" which is a big thing especially for my 13 year old. And you can add your own things on there as well! The kids are overall behaving more and helping out around the house a ton. We've decided to put a dollar amount on the stars. Every 5 stars = $1 We look up the item they want to work towards and round up to the nearest 5 or 0 (to account for tax) and then multiply that by 5 to see what they need to earn. We've also started a "credit card" version as well because my 13 year old wanted us to front her some stars to buy something right now and earn the stars back towards that item. So if they ask for a prize upfront and we agree to purchase it, they have to pay 20% interest (which is pretty much the average for credit cards these days) on the cost. So a 50 dollar item at 250 stars now becomes a 60 dollar item at 300 stars. I feel like they are learning so much between responsibility and managing money with this!

The quality of this is pretty good. Some of the stars peeled off the magnet before we even used them. If you’re a type B mom like me then you love the idea of a chart but trust me when I say you won’t use it longer than a week. It will just clutter your fridge and you’ll find little stars all over your kitchen floor and it’ll just be another mess to clean 😂

Love this! It came in 1 day with Amzon Prime. The chart is a giant flexible magnet that you write on. It also comes with very sturdy (in 3 colors) star magnets (1 per child) that you pop out of a perforated sheet. The kids can then use their color star magnets to annotate when they completed a chore. The kit also came with 'responsibility' magnets that are made of the versatile thick magnets like the stars. Both you can use over and over again, as they just stick right on the chart. Of course, you don't need to use the provided magnets. You can just write in what you want. Very versatile! The 1st day my kids were running around doing chores so they could put there stars in the box. 😆 The set also came with great behavior reminders like 'no yelling', 'no mean words', 'say please & thank you', etc.; which I have also added to the chart! What I wish was improved: more lines to have both the chores and behaviors, as I needed a 2nd chart! 😂 Also know it's for a max of 3 people. Other than that - I highly recommend. I don't think its over priced! Especially if you go into a box store looking for something like this.
