Great first set
My boy loves this, the cars are so fast and stay on the tracks, easy for him to set up and has entertained him for hours. It’s a good size for his room and doesn’t take up too much space. It works surprisingly well for the price and it is very good quality too.

Boys love it but track missing and damaged
I bought this as a Christmas presents for my boys. Unfortunately when they opened it a piece of track was missing and some of the other connectors were bent making it hard to put the pieces together until I had straightened them all. Not convinced this wasnt a returned item buy a previous customer. Very disappointed that I couldnt build a full track for them and Santa had given them a 'broken' toy. Now in touch with scalextric direct to see if they will send the piece of missing track. On the positive side the boys love it.. Very fast.. thinking of extending the track now..

Excellent customer service!
Absolutely excellent customer service! My Son was thrilled to receive this on his 4th birthday. Annoyingly, the yellow controller didn’t work but a quick call to the seller and they had another sent out the next day! Was so effortless and the chap I spoke with was just lovely. It’s a really sturdy set for little hands. Well worth the money. They whizz round the track so fast! Definitely would recommend.

Really great Scalextric!
We purchased this for our sons 5th birthday present and it’s perfect! Great price and very easy to put together. The cars whip around the track very quickly and for 99% of the time they don’t fling off. The controllers are simple with just one button to press so it’s basic and perfect for younger ones. Literally nothing bad to say about this!

Faulty parts and broken links
Purchased for my 3 year old grandson. On Boxing Day my daughter set up the track. Excitedly my grandson pulled the trigger on one of the remotes to state the race. It went in but didn’t return. The trigger was loose and unusable. As it was too late to return the game I tried to use the Amazon product support page to contact Scalextric but received an ‘Oops the page you are looking for doesn’t exist’. Sent an email to Scalextric but received no reply. As such I gave up looking for support and purchased another controller from eBay. However my grandson hasn’t shown any enthusiasm to try the game again and it now just sits under his bed. Very poor customer experience all round.

Needed adapter fo UK
Ordered this as a present - it needed an adapter plug for UK. This did not appear to be mentioned anywhere so my grandson was disappointed when it arrived and he could not use it….
