I'm VERY happy with these shoes.
I owned a pair of Dr Scholl's sandals for a number of years. Liked them quite a bit, but I wasn't averse to trying other brands. Having bought a pair of shoes from Born and liking them (though I later found the soles wore down far faster than they should have), I purchased a pair of Born sandals. Liked the look and feel of them BUT the Velcro stitching on the leather straps repeatedly began coming undone, and this just weeks after I first began wearing them. After enough frustration, including a trip to the local cobbler, I tossed those into the garbage. I thought, why not try another pair of Dr. Scholl's? Great decision. I've been wearing my "Gus Sandals" now for several weeks and couldn't be happier. Nice, comfortable fit made possible by straps that aren't cosmetic additions but which can be fully adjusted to create a fit as tight or loose as you want. I'm going to stick with Dr. Scholl's from now on!

Very comfortable once you get the size right.
Great looking & lasting sandal. Husband loves 'em. He usually wears a 10 in regular shoes, but the 10 sandal is way too big. That's why I said they run a little large 'cause the 9 fits him perfectly. Hope they keep this style around for awhile - he wore out the ones he bought in 2021! So we reordered.

Great sandle, but top strap a little short.
This is my second pair. That tells you I like them. I read a review before my first pair, saying the top strap comes out of loop when trying to get foot in. My first pair did not have that problem. This second pair comes out of the loop every time I put my foot in. Not a deal breaker but slightly annoying. Another 1/4" might solve the problem...

These sandals are so good and so comfortable that this is my second pair!
I have wide feet and most store bought sandals are too narrow. The Dr Scholls fit perfectly and are excellent for daily wear. They don't do well with water so do your best to avoid puddles.

Good quality, comfortable sandals - with one drawback I can't tolerate anymore
These are well-made, durable, comfortable sandals. The only problem (as another reviewer mentioned), is the straps are way too short. The bottom one's not that important, but the top one near the ankle is a hassle since it always comes undone when you take them off - so you always have to rethread them next time. Dr. Scholl's used to have a better model called the "Kai Fisherman" which had nice long straps - but unfortunately they've been discontinued. So now I must try a different brand.

Most comfortable sandal I have found.
I found a pair at an outlet mall and once I had worn those out, I never looked back. On my 3rd pair, now.

These sandal's were great for about a month
These sandal's were great for about a month. Then the fabric on the bottom began to tear away from the sole part of the shoe near the front in several spots on both sandals. Of course i was outside the return window so i contacted Dr. Scholl's directly. I spoke with someone in Customer Service who stated they stand behind their products. He stated all i had to do was fill out a defective form, pay for the shipping and the warehouse would determine if the damage was caused to Manufacture Defect. I asked how times the warehouse determines if it is considered a Manufacture Defect. He stated "not very often". Stated the process would take a month or more. So i have to pay for shipping and they keep the sandals for over a month to decide most likely its not their fault and ship me back the sandals after i have been without them the entire Chicago summer. NO THANK YOU. I think I will just call it a $40 loss and go buy a cheap pair at Kohls for $20.00 that last a year or so. I did have another pair of Dr. Scholls sandals a few years ago and they were great, lasted over 2 years until my puppy got ahold of them.
