Chef Craft Select Pizza Peel, 14.5 inch, Wood Handle

Larger than I expected, a good thing. Does what we need it to do!

This peel is very small. Useful area is only 10" x 11 3/4 ". It will not hold a 12" pizza. If you want a very small peel, it is sturdy and will probably work well but it is too small for a reasonably sized pizza. I will not use it and will return it.

I love this tool. It handles a large family style pizza just fine. I have a Wood Pellet Grill that I cook pizzas on all the time. During the process the pizza needs to be rotated clock wise a 1/2 turn every 7 minutes so it cooks evenly. This peel does a great job with the rotation. The blade is heavy duty but thin enough to slide under the pizza easily. I also use it to take heavier cuts of meet on and off the grill. The handle is comfortable and folds for easy storage.
