Good Value - Perfect Plates For Dumbbells
I have bought twelve 7.5lb plates total. The reason I am buying 7.5lb plates instead of larger plates is because these are going on dumbbells. I like the fact that the 7.5lb plates are pretty small in diameter and you can still fit 4 plates on each side of a short 14 inch handle. That's 60 pounds plus the weight of the handle in a compact form factor. I also have four 5lb & four 2.5lb plates. So basically I can go from the weight of the handles which is 3.8lb up to 63.8lb in 5lb increments. I only recently got back into lifting after 40 or so years of not lifting. I used to lift when I was in HS, you know, back in the black and white cathode array TV days. Now that I am old and on the doorstep of being elderly, I have made a choice to get in better shape. I lost 145 pounds, got my blood pressure in the ideal range and I started lifting weights and eating way more healthy. Back in July I could barely curl 23.8lb dumbbells and now I am working out with 38.8lb dumbbells. I also started dumbbell presses and went from 33.8lb workout weight to 48.8lb workout weight. Yes, they are not massive gains but none the less they are gains and gains at my old age. I recommend these CAP plates for anyone looking to get a little healthier on a budget. There are so many exercises that can be done with dumbbells. I have plans to get a EZ curling bar and I have my eye on the CAP 25lb plates. The images is of 12 of the CAP 7.5lb plates configured in a 48.8lb dumbbell pair. It's my current dumbbell press workout weight.

Often Can't Get Them in Local Shops
For those who are into Standard 1-inch plates, these little 1.25 plates are perfect, amazing. None of the stores around me carry them. I am a 72-year-old weightlifter. One of the reasons I still lift is that I let my body talk to me. 2.5lb on each side is too much at once for me considering how slow I take it. These are it, great. They feel somewhat old school, too.

Well, at least I got 3 out of 4 of them....
Needs better packaging for 40 lbs of steel weights. It was shipped in a standard fitted carboard box. My package was destroyed. One of the plates was lost in shipping. Gotta say though, amazon usually does a pretty good job of packaging. Walmart just can't seem to figure out how to package their orders, which in my opinion, will doom their recently announced attempt to compete with amazon in online ordering if they don't fix it.

I Mean, It's A Hunk Of Iron.
There's not much to be said about an iron disk. It works as intended, which means it's heavy. It's round, and its hole allows a barbell or dumbbell handle through it. Ease of use? Well, it's not supposed to be easy. That's the whole point of weights.

Good quality incremental weight
Good quality incremental weight. I ended up returning them because they weren’t best for my setup, but that’s on me & not the product. If you have barbells and need incremental weights, I think these are the best for the price

Increase the weight you lift a little at a time.
These are great! Nice finish, My husband wanted to increase the weight on his dumbbells; these work perfectly. Just remember to measure the holes to get the right size to fit your bars.

Nice looking weight for a basic setup
Being a weight trainer in the past I have looked at this product through the eyes of the athlete. To me it is no nonsense, clean, easy to work with and maintain weight. I like the fact that it is essentially just a plain flat plate with few impressions made in the surface. That means a slim disc that fits well with its neighbours. Simple, and when you’re working out you need to be surrounded by simplicity so you can be in the psyche of a good athlete. All that being said, I actually bought this weight on sale as an anchor for a loudspeaker stand which is close to a traffic area. I am afraid of it being bumped and the speaker being damaged. The hole in the weight is just a hairsbreadth larger than the speaker stand’s centre post. Threaded overtop, that stand isn’t going anywhere. Unconventional use, but there you go. For now it looks okay and works a charm. But I still think the weight is a good buy for its intended purpose. Oh, and BTW, there is only one sticker and it is of the removable sort, so even being careful it shouldn’t take much more than 30 seconds to remove it.

Good quality. Best price.
Good quality. Best price. 1.25lb plates are the smallest practical sizes. (Fractional plates are ridiculously high priced.) Not sure why, but Amazon decided to pack 4 1.25lb plates in 4 separate boxes (though they were all in the same order) when only one was needed. Also, whoever Amazon chose to deliver (although they delivered 4 days ahead of schedule), don't seem to understand "Deliveries here, please" in a box intended to hide the delivery from porch pirates. Sigh!
