I never buy the protection for products but I'm so glad that I bought it for my headphones. They got water damage and asurion sent a gift card so I could replace my headphones. It was a painless process. Quick and easy. I liked this protection plan so much that I purchased it with my new headphones.

ZERO STARS! WORTHLESS!
ASURION is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Asurion claimed to have repaired my watch, but returned it in the exact same condition THREE TIMES! After the 2nd time, I called and explained that the watch was still not repaired and asked that they refund my money. They said they would submit the request for refund and had me return the watch again. That 3rd time, they did the exact same thing as the 1st two times - returned it to me as "Fixed" but it's still not working. ASURION is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I won't even go into all the headache of paperwork, packaging, etc. I need the smartwatch for health and safety reasons, so I had to go buy a new one from Best Buy where we will have local support with a company who backs their support program.

Good deal for xbox game controller (elite)
We had a previous xbox Elite controller break after a year or so (past warranty), so when we replaced it got the Asurion protection. Sure enough the new one started acting up (bad right bumper) and Asurion was able to repair it, easy shipping back and forth. (Unfortunately their first repair introduced a new problem, so we had to send it back. But second time everything was resolved.)

Excellent protection plan
It’s affordable and easy to file claim. Used it for my Fitbit that just up and quit working. Received an Amazon gift card for the purchase price of the Fitbit. Easy to return item as well.

Product I purchase with Insurance was defective
Asurion not able to be used the product I purchase to be covered by Asurion was defective. Returning for Credit I have used this company before for other products and they are great.
