Easy to apply and compatible with various surfaces, it delivers a subtle sheen that enhances natural wood grain while providing professional-grade protection. ## Description Keep your wood looking beautiful with this clear, semi-matte Polyx-Oil finish. The oil and wax formula provides lasting protection against scratches, scuffs, and spills. Review: Great results - Beautiful finish and seems very durable. Instructions on the tin are tiny and had difficulty reading them only to realise that you need to wipe excess off after 10 minutes which took me longer to read! All things considered it was a great product, quick and well wrapped delivery and the finishing result looks professional. Really pleased, would highly recommend Review: Fabulous product and very easy to use - I trawled through lots of reviews before purchasing the Osmo Polyx Oil Semi-Matt. As others have said, if you follow the instructions, it goes on really well without clouding the surface. I used it over a Littlefair's floor stain (Modern Oak on pine floorboards) and chose semi-matt as didn't want a completely dull floor. The sheen is very subtle, but looks good nonetheless. To avoid having to clean a brush I applied with a clean microfibre cloth and this worked brilliantly. It got easier as the cloth became more steeped in the oil - you need just enough so it glides over the surface - so I kept it in an airtight bag overnight for the second coat. The odour is quite strong and takes a while to dissipate but it's not unpleasant (reminded me of oil paint/art studios). The oil was a bit of an outlay but it goes a long way and I'll have enough for several rooms. The cost of prep, stain and oil compares favourably to carpeting and, in my opinion, looks far better. ## Features - Safety data sheet available on request. - Use biocides safely.
