These grinders work well for my needs. At first when I put course sea salt into one, I had to tighten the grinder quite a bit to keep it from shaking out the course salt without having to turn the grinder. The grinder would probably work better with a larger grain of salt than standard "Course" sea-salt, more like rock salt. The peppercorns I'm using are also below standard size so that grinder took some adjustments too but both are working well afterward. Some day I may try to find a larger grain salt to see how it works in the grinder, but for now I've got a large container of the course sea-salt to go through first.

Purchased these after my dual grinder I had for years broke. I don’t remember if the original picture showed grinders already filled. They are not, which was fine with me. I had a bag each of pepper corns and sea salt which I had previously ordered on Amazon. They look very nice on my dinning room table when I set it.

I liked this set and it looked sleek, nicely designed and well built. unfortunately it wouldn't grind flax seeds at all. it probably could do with rough pepper and salt (i haven't tried), but not flax seeds (tho i had previously a grinder of the same caliber and structure, but different brand which could do it fine).+ Great minimalistic design with sleek lines+ Classy metal top and real glass bottom - good quality build-/+ Price is great only if you will use these for salt and pepper, but not if you're after grinding finer seeds- The ceramic blade doesn't seem like the right choice for finer grains like Flax seeds, the main reason i bought these for

I purchased these grinders a while ago, but started noticing a problem with the salt grinder. In an attempt to adjust the grinding mechanism, the small screw broke, making the grinder unusable. The date for returns had long passed, but I decided to contact the company via email, to see if they could help me. The customer representative, Lena, responded quickly and stated that she would be happy to assist. She stated that she would send out a replacement and it is currently on its way. She asked for pictures of the damage so she could send it to the quality control department. She stated that if this is a problem with the design, they would like to address it so others would not have the same problem. I appreciated her quick response, the new grinder and the fact that the issue will be considered for possible changes to design/materials.

Have two similar ones already. Very solid and pleasant styling, durable and adjustable for coarse or fine output. Ceramic inner teeth.

I need an inexpensive set of salt and pepper grinders to keep in my spice cabinet. When this set arrived I really liked the size and the shape. Not too big, not too small, table-worthy appearance. Attractive and sturdy (good weight of glass for the body). One grinder (salt is in this one) seems to work very well. The other grinder (peppercorns are in it), not so much. No matter how I adjust it there seems to be NO difference in the grind of the pepper. The most irritating thing about both grinders is the lids WILL NOT STAY ON. Period. The lids pop-off even after the grinders have been placed on the shelf. Thus, as I mentioned in my attention line, I am still seeking a good set of grinders.

When it became impossible for me to remove the tops of my previous mills, I discovered that the "stainless steel" ring below the top section was actually made of plastic and had warped, probably because I kept my mills close at hand on my stove top. They were never directly heated. Evidently the residual heat from the burners was enough to warp them.Since I couldn't remove the tops to fill them, I had to replace them. I am SO glad I found the Trofoty Stainless Steel Adjustable Ceramic Sea Salt Grinder & Pepper Mill! The ring that had warped on my previous ones truly are stainless steep on these. They are attractive and I think they will probably last a long time. My only complaint (which is the receiving for dinging them one star for ease of use) is that it is difficult to adjust the grind level for one of them.

I’ve had these a few days now, they seem to be working great. I like that the jars are the perfect size to fit in your hand. They were easy to clean before using them I just used a few drops of dish soap and filled it with water. I actually used them on Sunday when I had my family dinner. They worked out well and everyone seemed to like them. The only thing I wasn’t sure about if there was a way to adjust the coarseness of the salt and pepper. Otherwise I am very happy with this product.

It's a good buy

After receiving the product, on day one it's worked good, and was grinding very well.On second day, the ring fell off which was holding the grinder shaft as you can see in the image the left grinder head and a ring.Also the brand name is not on product as shown in display image.They can fix this issue by adding screw instead of a plastic ring.

I had purchased it in Nov 2022 and it 2 months of usage, the ring from one of the grinders came out, thus making it unusable. When I reached out to the seller, they said I am sorry and that is it. Do not purchase this. It's a waste of money
