Worked great on my old White sewing machine with a size 18 needle. Will see if it holds the seams over the years. Only problem I had was I didnt order a spool spindle or holder. I googled this and found a could use a coffee cup to hold it. And a stand with an arm my husband had to keep the thread at the proper height.
