Don't let the fancy name fool you - near as I can tell, this is nothing more than 7% hydrogen peroxide. Still, there's nothing wrong with that, and Neutra Sul works very well. We use it to help combat iron in our well water. I have a Stenner peristaltic pump which I use to inject Neutra Sul into the water. It then goes into a contact tank and then the rust particles that form are removed by a sediment filter. If you are planning on using it for this purpose too, then great, but don't even bother asking what your expected feed rate will be. I've been tinkering with my horrible water for months and all I can tell you for sure is that the feed rate will depend on a lot of different factors and everyone's water is different. We use about a gallon per week, but again, our water is unusually awful. I'll give you a few hints though, based on my experience. First, if your water is high in iron and also hard, then you may want to position your softener FIRST in line, before any peroxide or other treatment. I know that runs contrary to conventional wisdom, but I look at it this way... if your water is hard, then you're always going to need a softener anyway. The softener can remove maybe 80 or 90% of the iron too, while it is in its ferric state (that is, before the iron turns to rust). So you might as well let it. Then clean up the remaining iron with oxidation and filtration. Secondly, and I can't state this strongly enough... check your pH. If your pH is low it can make it very hard to remove iron. In fact, pH is very important to overall water quality, so you may want to start there. Bring your pH up to 7 or slightly higher and then see where that leaves you. Anyway, Neutra Sul is a very useful product. I must say, shipping has been extremely fast, so kudos to the seller on that! Once I had a bottle that was damaged in shipping and leaked all over my driveway, but they replaced it and I had a new bottle the next day after filing the claim! Fantastic seller (Pro Products). Final note, do remember this is a strong oxidant. Do NOT let it touch your skin because it WILL burn. And for goodness sake, use eye protection when handling!

Moved into a new home with a well for water supply which was a first for me. I had a company come out and test the water and install a whole home water filtration and softener system. Been very pleased with the performance, but we had a sulfur odor consistently every morning. The company indicated that we could either do a bleach treatment (>$100) every 6 months or install an injector systems (>$1000). Given the smell wasn't too terrible, I thought the latter was overkill and the former a hassle. In researching options, I came across hydrogen peroxide injectors and ultimately to this product. Someone had suggested they used this by pouring it into the brine tank and forcing a regen. That seemed reasonable and not a big hassle, but I worried it would not be very effective. Then someone else said they poured this into their filter housing which I thought was the better solution as the filter itself would absorb some of this product and provide a more constant neutralization. This is indeed what I did - poured an entire gallon into the 20" housing and mounted it back in place. Turned on the water and ran it for a while as I did see a slight bubbling effect at first - which was expected. After 10 minutes, everything settled down and we've had water without a sulfur smell since! I knew this product was working as when I went to put the housing back it really stank! That was the solution oxidizing the sulfur which is exactly what I wanted it to do! Very happy with this as my longer term solution although I don't know how long the effect of that single gallon will last - TBD on that.

I live in Florida and my well water smells like eggs, and tastes horrible. I have a hydrogen peroxide injection system to help remove the smell and taste. The problem is I could taste the hydrogen peroxide at times and finding the 7% peroxide was difficult as the stores constantly were out of stock. I found Nutra Sol on Amazon and thought I’d give it a shot. Glad I did. Not only is it cheaper, it gets delivered to my door instead of running around town trying to find peroxide in stock, but it works so much better with no hydrogen peroxide flavored water!

We have a system to neutralize the sulphur smell from our water. We ran out and the company we use to service the system was going to charge us a service fee to bring a case to us or a huge fee to have it delivered to us. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. It takes the smell out like it claims.
