All of my motorcycle maintenance is performed by myself resulting in minor oil spills on the garage floor. Rather than using a spirit based degreaser I wanted something that would not produce toxic fumes. Our pets regularly go into the garage for their food and litterbox so keeping the environment safe was a thing. Plus my wife is very sensitive to fumes from distillates. So I tried ZEP and was absolutely sold on it from the first use. I generally use it full strength but it works just fine diluted. Greasy rags, engine grease and other challenges all respond well to an application of this. My practice is to pour some into a spray bottle, maybe add a little water on occasion, then apply and let it sit for a few minutes. Oil and grease on the floor comes right off, the bike engine and even my rags all come clean when using this. Just bought another gallon which lasts me at least a year with regular use.

I used the ZEP Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser to clean my stainless steel range hood in my kitchen. I am impressed by how well this product works. In the past I have tried a variety of soap based cleaning products that can bardly touch the grease that accumulates on a range hood. ZEP acts more like a solvent and effectively softened the grease. It also has very little odor and is safer than some of the aggressive degreaser products (no chemical is 100% safe, so make sure to read and follow the safety recommendations).
