Dented by Dennis, but still works great.
Nice and sturdy. Do not ask your boyfriend to move this around, since a man's athletic shoe can easily put a small dent in the side of it. I can think of him every time I file something! File cabinets are not tires, so I still gave it 5 stars. Dennis is priceless.

Most reviews mention shipping damage. The unit is so light weight and it is packed in a thin box. It WILL be damaged when you receive it. It is flimsy as heck. A lot less sturdy than reviews here gave it credit for. I am afraid that filling it with files will warp it. I would NEVER order this again and will never buy another via internet.

I had read all the reviews and had some concerns with dents that were noted in several postings. Mine arrived well packaged, but there was a noticeable "ping" on the right side of the cabinet and a fairly large dent on the bottom of the left side of the cabinet, neither of which interfere with the sliding of the cabinet drawers. It would be too much trouble to repackage the file cabinet and return it. Otherwise, the cabinet is heavy, with large drawers that hold quite a bit and slide easily.
