HONMetro Classic Small Office Desk - Right Pedestal Desk with File Drawer, 48" W, Mocha & Black (HP3251R)

The writing drawer tract was installed backwards by the manufacturer. The only way that the writing drawer moves is backwards into the desk. At first I thought it was the lock but the lock is not even locked. If the drawers were locked then the pedestal drawers would not even be able to open because it was advertised that if one drawer is locked they're all locked. I noticed when I looked underneath the desk the drawer can only move backwards further into the desk as seen in the pictures. Because it was installed incorrectly, the whole entire locking mechanism does not work. The drawers on the pedestal however do work but do not lock. You can also see there's a whole bunch of scratches, dents and metal parts that are unaligned. You figure that there would be some quality control. The only upside is that the only thing I had to install was the legs. I would stay away from buying this desk because you may just have to inconveniently return this large heavy desk if the manufacturers installed anyting incorrectly. Now I feel like I'm just stuck with a desk that just doesn't work or I have to go buy tools to inconveniently fix the problem myself.
