It’s shocking I have never owned a measuring tape in my entire life. Well, up until now. If it wasn’t for a custom hat I’d like to purchase, I’d probably still be without one. Anyway, knowing how little I relied on a measuring tape - I purchased this cute set with both manual and retractable. For the price of $3.99 plus tax, I thought it was pretty worth it. I was more surprised they were well-made for the price point and didn’t just fall apart in one use. In addition, I dig how little space they take up. They’ll surely do the job and yes, I’d recommend them.

I really love the retractable one, I got it to help measure my weight loss. I did not realize the measurements start after the end of the tape, so I messed up that, but that's my bad for not paying attention. Otherwise they are really nice and the retractable one makes things so easy.

The tape quality is pretty much the same as any other tape measure as you would expect. The ease of measurement also remains the same as any others. It feels quite durable and is easy to use. The retract-ability likely will wear over time but thats to be expected as well.

Nice set of two measuring tapes. The pink on is the basic clothing/material type. Ours gave out after plenty of normal use over the years, so we knew what we wanted and this basic version is spot on for us. Material is the same, construction the same, so we're expecting the same decade plus of use. Time will tell. The black version is retractable. Not all that sure how we'll use it, but glad to have it. We know such things always, at some point, get used.
