Problems applying
I have replaced the seal on my BGE numerous times and the paper backing on this product stuck to the glue and would not release from the felt when I applied the seal. I would not buy this item from this vendor again!

Tough Stuff.
I replaced my gasket with this stuff and it seems like its tougher that the regular gasket material. It's a little thicker tool. I know a little bit about fire retardant fabrics and this stuff has a different blend of nomex that should hold up better that the other stuff on the market.
