I would assume so, as I have used it to paint buttercream & fondant.

Can it be used in an airbrush?

I would think so bc it's liquid. I used a brush.

Can this be used in buttercream frosting?

I used it to brush onto butter cream frosting and fondant. Not sure how it would do if mixed into the cream, I tried mixing it with some fondant and it didn’t look as well as painting it on the finished cake.

I use a tiny bit of vanilla flavoring to give it a taste
