Total Protection Brush-On Shield, Fair, SPF 50

I really enjoy this sunscreen, but I don’t use it exclusively so I can’t really attest to its efficacy as a stand-alone product. I have sensitive skin and rely on zinc sunscreen to protect it, but as anyone who uses mineral sunscreen will tell you it can leave a white cast on your skin. I use this brush on product to help eliminate the white cast on my skin while providing an additional layer protection and also reducing shine. It takes a little time for the product to start coming out like it’s supposed to, but once it does it works great.

I like this so far as a face powder alternative to put over my tinted SPF that I use as my foundation. It helps if you give it some good smacks upside down with the lid on. I will say that although having the built in brush is convenient, it is harder to get a good amount of produc. I love the finish but I also can’t say how good really the SPF aspect of this is.

I purchased this product and it does not work. It is too expensive not to be able to use. I watched the video and followed the directions, but I could not get the powder to come out. Then when I asked to send it back they will only allow you to send it back at a Whole Foods. I don't have a Whole Foods near me. The closest one is 40min away. So I either have to drive an hour an half to return it or take the loss.....

I wish I could give this 5 stars. This is impossible to get flowing through the brush. I have been trying on and off for weeks to get it primed. I finally unscrewed to back and dumped the powder into a container. I pushed a toothpick through the inside to unclog the area the powder is supposed to go through the bristles. I had it slightly working, but now the powder is again just not getting through even though I'm following the directions and pounding it to try to get it flowing again. My final resort is to keep some loose powder in a container and apply it to the brush for each use. This does not make it practical if you need to reapply and you are on the go unfortunately. Otherwise my sensitive skin has not had any negative reactions to the product. I have yet to spend a decent amount of time in the sun to see how well it works as a sunblock.

Saw this recommended online and thought it would be perfect for reapplying sunscreen over makeup on the go. While it doesn't disturb my makeup, it's very hard to get the powder to disperse. I can barely tell if I’ve applied enough SPF or anything at all! Given the high price for a small amount of product, it's a bit disappointing.

I love this product. Easy to apply & provides a great sunscreen for me. And it's so portable for everyday use & travel

This seems to work well, easy to apply (as long as you give it a good shake to start) and no skin issues. Great for applying over make up on hot days but also works without make up. NIce to have sunscreen that isn't sticky!

The texture of this sunscreen powder is very lumpy and dry. The color is too dark. It makes your skin dry, dull and cakey after application. it is not worth for the money spent

The powder itself is quality and provides a nice, light coverage. However, it’s really tough to get the powder to come out through the brush. Everytime I use it, I have to completely tilt my head and really harshly rub the center of the face against my face. I’m probably just doing more damage than protection to my skin as a result of using this. If they ever come out with the powder separate from the brush, I’ll buy it.

I followed the instructions to activate the brush which went well and then tried applying it. It blends seamlessly and looks great, covering up any shiny areas on the skin. Really happy with the product, it will be great to carry around with me during summer ☀️
