Good setup of supplies for beginners
I purchased this when a visit out of town became extended and I needed art supplies to keep me busy. This is a pretty complete kit to get started for someone who would like to try out acrylic painting. It’s also ok for someone like me who isn’t advanced but is familiar with working with acrylics. The pigments are bright but I didn’t like the texture. It was curdlike when I was mixing and loading up the brush. I used the metal palette. The dried paint washes off easily I soaked it in soapy water then Wiped off the loosened paint.I am submitting a painting I’m working on. Still needs more work on the tree stands in the foreground. The brushes aren’t great but I enjoyed the challenge of working with the paints and brushes and I think the painting looks pretty good for being on a canvas board. The canvas board did soak up the paint. This painting has about 10 thin layers of paint. That’s just how I like to paint. I hope this review and info helps those looking at this set.

Tiny, cheap, didn't even give me money back!
Very misleading photo, be aware that it is not true to the size in the picture the canvases are miniature and the whole thing looks extremely cheap, I sent it back. They claim to have refunded my bank account on the 30th of march but here we are on the second of April and I still haven't been refunded my nearly $60!

You get what you pay for!
I expected somewhat questionable quality of this because of the low price. Things you may want to know before buying:The apron is small, as others have said, and quite flimsy (easy to tug a string off if you're not careful), but it still fits my 185 lb 5'8" body okay (e.g., i can put it on, tie it and wear it and it does its job). The metal round thing that is where you mix paint is SUPER flimsy. This is probably my biggest complaint. I swear if I hold just it in between two fingers, it's own weight and gravity would bend it. But, it's so bendy you can bend it back. It's also a weird metal feeling - I can't say I understand this, but some metals when you clean or scrape them give me the heebie jeebies. This is one of those metals. The paints are in decent shape, some are a little chunkier than others (likely older paints) but overall work fine for a beginner. The canvases are TINY. In the image they look large. They are not. They are correctly represented in the description. Just don't let the image fool you.The easel is a piece of crap. The screws that they give you just crumble to dust with a handheld manual screwdriver. And it's awkward to put together because the joint couplings are out of whack. I think it would tip over if I sneezed, so I don't even use it.BUT - a decent starter kit if you want to test out your attention span with acrylics or start a kid up on painting! The brushes etc are likely poor quality but they work. I'm not painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling over here or anything. :)

I'm keeping it that's should say enough
The artist apron was too small was supposed to be adult sized but was child sized so I gave it to my very slim 10 year old she goes to tighten it and "POP!' The waist tie comes off! I opened the easel which was described as bigger. It would not stand properly. Would not hold together with just hardware provided we're going to wood glue it. I wwas satisfied with variety of paints brushes and like d the two pallets I Do like the grade of canvas.

i really like it. i think it's great for a new artist who doesn't want to spend too much money. this kit is perfect for anyone who wants to pick up painting as a hobby.

Kit doesn’t include everything it says it does.
Ordered 2 kits, and the kits are missing pieces. One kit is missing the palette and mixing plate, the other kit is kissing the palette knives. The sets also came with only small canvases, like 3x5, when there was supposed to be an assortment. Needless to say, I’m really disappointed in my purchase. These were supposed to be 2 orders of the same kit.

I’m livid
When I got this couple weeks ago, I was really excited. Today I tried to paint and two of the tubes of paint had NO PAINT In tube. I am so mad. Do not recommend

Awful set
I returned this set - the easel is a very poor quality and the paints were all dried up. This set is worth about $10 - was very embarrassed as I gave this as a gift
