There's a lip all the way round where the machines slot in. If they aren't matched in size I wouldn't stack them. You need to have the whole thing really safely balanced or it will topple. **Q: Can it be used with a plastered wall?** A: The tumble dryer just stacks on top of the washing machine, it doesn’t attach to a wall. Really good item, particularly with the pull out shelf **Q: Is it still safe not to use the wall mounting strip? the wall in the laundry room is not make of brick ie not sturdy** A: When my plumber installed this for me he didn’t fix it to the wall but used a strong white band around both the washing machine & tumble dryer. I do not know if the band is included in the box. Hope this helps **Q: Does this fit if the washing machine has depth of 57cm and the tumble dryer has a depth of 64cm** A: Mine is similar and had no problems Just ensre that you leave enough clearance for the dryer ## Frequently Bought Together - Care + Protect 35602039 Universal Washer/Tumble Dryer Stacking Kit-Thanks to the securing strip and wall mount, the universal stacking kit allows for safe and perfectly stable placement of your dryer - TEAIERXY 4 Inch 8FT Dryer Vent Hose,Flexible Insulated Air Ducting,Vent Hose PVC Aluminum Foil with 2 Clamps for HVAC Ventilation(Grey) - KSTK1 27-inch Laundry Stacking Kit Replacement for LG Washer & Dryer - Solid Metal with Chrome Coated by Funmit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/151272225-care-protect-universal-washer-and-dryer-stacking-kit-with-sliding](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/151272225-care-protect-universal-washer-and-dryer-stacking-kit-with-sliding) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
