I was fully convinced my PC just was not good. It struggled with connecting to the internet every day, and would randomly cut out. Ever since I got this adapter- it hasn't cut out ONCE other than when the actual internet is down. I plugged it in, and that was it- and it's worked ever since! The only downside is the size, and orientation of the usb. My USBs are vertical, so plugging this in pretty much takes up any nearby slots. However, its compatibility with my computer, AND the additional range it gives me makes up for it. Super happy with this purchase!

When it works, it works well. Allows my PC to connect to our new fiber internet and runs well. However it randomly stops working and I have to pull it out and plug it back in for it to start working again. Because of this, I have to plug it in to the only USB port on the front of my PC tower, which takes my ease of access away from being able to switch between my external hard-drive and thumb-drive, both of which I need for my work. For the price, I'm extremely disappointed, but it will suffice for the moment.
