Unfortunately, when my dad passed we were shown several necklace urns, during the slideshow, that were very expensive at the funeral home. At that point, we started looking for a cheaper alternative as we wanted my mom and all six children to have one along with some of the grandchildren. Of course, we wanted something that symbolized his life so we bought several different styles of necklaces. Since my dad played guitar all his life and worked on airplanes at Boeing, I had to buy guitar and wrench necklace urns. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wrench necklace! It came in a nice little box with the tools for placing ashes in the opening. The opening is on the side of the wrench. The wrench has some weight to it so it does not feel cheap and the details were perfectly crafted. We were told by the funeral home not to swim or take a shower with the necklace on as they are probably not water proof and might lose the ashes that were placed inside. The opening only holds a smidgen of my dad's ashes but it's not the amount that I was worried about. I just wanted something to hold onto and I got it. I will forever cherish my wrench necklace and wear it mainly during the holidays and his birthday/day of passing, etc.

This fell off its chain and was lost the first day it was worn. Not ok when it contains your father’s ashes. If you love this urn, put it on a better chain before wearing it, or it could be lost forever. It’s a good piece otherwise, just not ok to have it fall off like that. This is precious cargo, it needs to not fall apart.

I definitely love my product! The remains dugout is very very tiny, though I’m not complaining. The piece is small in itself so that’s to be expected. The size of the dugout made me a bit less concerned about losing it and not having my dad anymore.I do suggest that before wearing it, some kind of clear coat be applied as the colors do wear off fairly quick.Overall durability of the metal itself is nice, and the screw has stayed in place very well.

I work in construction and I have been wearing mine for almost two months. I never take it off and it's holding up. I have not had any problems with the chain. It is small and It really doesn't hold much ashes but I think it's more of the idea. It holds less than a pinch so if you want something that holds alot, then find a different one. Most of the ones I saw were more feminine and not representative of my father or is something that I would wear, but this was was perfect. I purchased a small angel wing to add to mine and I really like how it looks.

I purchased the gold hammer for my sister as our dad passed away and we wanted something to bring him with us everyday. Unfortunately the hammer claw design is really sharp and is causing irritation when wearing. It so far has snagged and got caught on many things such as her clothing.Otherwise the entire quality of the product is great. The color, eight, and overall look is splendid.I also purchased the wrench urn necklace for myself in silver and am in love with it.

I love this little hammer! This is the perfect container to hold my dad’s cremains. He was an active DYI-er and woodworker.It doesn’t hold much (The hole is as big as the screw and as deep as the hammer head) but it’s enough to be representative and ceremonial.It is both a gorgeous piece of jewelry and sturdy-built tool. I’ll be attaching it to my silver charm bracelet and not wearing it as a necklace, so I cannot speak to the chains durability or the comfort of wearing the pendant.

I bought this for my 15 year old son to have his dads ashes put in when he passed suddenly in July... I was very surprised by the quality and appearance, I thought that it might feel and look cheap like the price... But its actually beautiful for being a "wrench"... chain quality is also really good. My son has been wearing it everyday, and he's really rough on jewelry.

Really sweet little pendant. As other reviews have mentioned, very little space for the actual ashes but at the end of the day it's more about the memory than the space.Since I won't be wearing it very often I can't speak to its plating, but right now it's perfect.Does have a seal and everything you'd need to wear it long-term.

This will be for my father's ashes. It feels exactly like Dad to me. I will cherish having this on for the rest of my days.

Beautifully crafted. Doesn’t hold much for ashes, but memories are in the heart & mind... not in the ashes themselves. My husband loves his and being that his father was a mechanic by trade, this just suited him perfectly!

My son ordered this for his grandpas ashes and there literally no space for them. You unscrew it and the hole is the size of the screw itself, the wrench is not hollowed out to hold anything. Had to order something different.

Its a beautiful keep sake however the wrench is extremely small, and the chain is a bit dainty to be worn by a man who works with tools.
